Good meals, all facilities: Spa, free hotel bicycles (!). Best of all: Lots of original art on the walls including drawings and prints from Oddvar Torsheim, a local original and one of my top favourites. (You can buy his artwork in the lobby and even meet him in person if you are very lucky.)

Because it was raining so much we have chosen for a hotel instead of a camping. We arrived at this hotel and they only had a superior room left for us. It was a little over our budget but okey no problem. Room was excellent but we did miss a couple of items like a kettle to warm water. Also we had a small problem with the shower because it fell own everytime. Personal was really friendly and did not mind that we put or tent on the balcony for drying. We will certainly come again. ( i can not say anything about the swimming pool or spa because we did not use it.)

Stayed in this hotel for 1 night during a road trip through Norway in April 2014. The rooms are quite spacious and overall very clean. We chose this hotel as we were traveling with our dog, and there were no problems when checking in. There are a couple of nice walkways around the hotel for an evening walk especially near the river . We decided to eat at one of the local restaurants as the food in the hotel was very expensive.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
