Eating at Sande Kro & Hotel is a pleasure. Nothing else. The hospitality of the hosts are as warm and welcoming as the food they serve. Traditional home cooked Norwegian dishes are on the menu while often sided by more elaborate offers like Moose hunted by the owner himself and a choice of desserts and cakes leaving you unable to stand up for half an hour after your fifth filling. The setting is atmospheric in the style of Switzerland architecture. Although the age of the building is beginning to show it bears it's years well. A much deserved recommendation from me. I will be back.

The rooms need a renovation but the place is clean and the staff is very nice and helpful. I can recommend this place with no doubt, and the food is homemade and great as well.

Et veldig koselig spisested i vakre naturomgivelser. Rent. Jeg var her rett før påsken og spiste en herlig laupskaus sammen med en gruppe jeg reiste sammen med. Etterpå ble det servert god kaffe.
