One of the most beautiful hotels what I have ever seen in my life. Awesome view to all Oslo! Fini dining restaurant, regular restaurant, two bars and 20min to city centre. Really great!

Not all that classy of a place, this seems to be the preferred hotel for average budget European tourists. The lobby, breakfast room are always full and loud. They sometimes even get unloaded by the busload here, that's the sort of place this is
Buffet dinner is a bit meagre, not many vegetarian options save for some salads.
Staff is OK but not all are that friendly.
The quirky design and the amazing view are what this hotel has going for it, but for nearly the same money you can stay in nearby Soria Moria Conference Hotel, which is a MUCH nicer, quieter, classier and friendlier affair than this place.

Travelling from USA. First time in Norway. Staff was OK. No one explained how to operate anything in the room. Which is very different from USA. No one informed us that breakfast was included with our room stay. Phone in the room didn't work. Door between adjoining room was NOT locked. Only friendly staff member was woman bartender during the day. I wish I could remember her name. She was very helpful. If you are just looking for a place to crash, perfect place. If you are travelling and looking for any assistance to enhance your travels/vacation stay someplace else.

“Probably one of the best breakfasts ever”
Nice hotel. I had a somewhat weird triangular room, propped in a corner, with no view at all (well, a wall). But the bed was great, room and bathroom were very clean and the breakfast was absolutely marvelous.

Breakfast was amazing! So much choice you wouldn't believe it! The area is great and the view from the entrance is enchanting. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. However! We walked, and It's a good 10 min walk from the train station but all the way steep uphill. Also I'm sure some rooms have a stunning view, ours looks out at a snowy bank. The room is a little out dated and the TV didn't work. No kettle in the room either and the nearest shop is 25mins walk both ways. I would recommend it but you have to be aware it's a task to get to!

Nice room with a great view. Excellent room service, comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom with both a shower and a bath tub. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of food, pastry, dairy, and fruits. Friendly staff, indoor parking, all in all a very good experience.

I was only here for a cup of hot cacao and a snack from a vending machine during a break from touring the ski jump nearby. However, the café is warmly decorated and the view over Oslo is excellent, extending to the fjords. There's also a bar with sports on television. Prices are typical for a nice hotel; don't expect cheap eats here.
