I can't say I find it aesthetically pleasing but it is a practical and well kept, clean station.
There are lots of stores and quick food & drink options in the station itself ("Passasjen"), and just down the hall to the left you enter Byporten shopping centre for more shopping & food options.
The seating near the tracks isn't too comfortable so I would recommend to sit upstairs at Starbucks or Cafe Opus if you have a long wait.
They have baggage lockers on the lower floor if you want to store your stuff.
Comfortable and easy to navigate. 😄
Nice and clean with clear information board and plenty helpfully staffs speaking English several ways to get in and auth if you go down take straight to the underground o taxi inside is full of shops and coffee and restaurants the place closed at:01-the main excite take you to large square with bus and railbus
Is to find nearby there is the information point with free oslo maps
One of the nicest station in Europe. Organized tracks and clear schedules/ Ticket machine tells you which track you should be and how long until your trip/ Has 7/11 Narvesen Coop Burger King Starbucks etc. It is so big that we actually spent our afternoon in it laughing how we always end up still in the station after walking around what we thought was a “mall” lol
Nice and comfy station. If u wanna sleep in the wee hours of night bear in mind the guards dont like that :) found it out the hard way. Good wifi and no power outlets
This type of transport is extremely efficient. The train is brand new and it runs allmost soundless. It starts and stops fluidly. It has separate luggage area, touch on/off led switches and AC power plugs.
The station is well labelled so getting around isn't hard. There are plenty of information staff as well if you need guidance.
Highly recommended.
This is a good, safe, spacious and clean central train station. Easy access, several places to eat, shops, waiting area. Well maintained!
An organized and clean station. I took the train to Bergen and found the departing terminal easily. Had to buy paracetamol and there was a medical shop nearby.
Great station. Well organised. 20 kronas for toilet is crazy though. You can go for free in Opera nearby
The Oslo Central Station has been upgraded recently and I love it. Once it was just a place to pass through in-between trains. Now it is a place to meet and enjoy a dinner, a cup of coffee, have a meeting, or even to stay overnight. There are two hotels located on site, Scandic Byporten and Comfort Hotel Grand Central. In the summer, some of the restaurants serve outdoors and you have a great view of the Opera. Or just people watching.
Clean and tidy, easy to find your way around. Plenty of cafés, restaurants and shops except late in the evening when most of them close too early.
