One of the best and most efficient airports in Norway.
Not a big one but deserved by Ryan Air. Take some hours to reach Oslo
Not a very big or well stocked shops. Closes early and limited access with public transport late at night. Seats not comfortable
Hi
recently moved to Norway and I use often Oslo Rygge airport every time when I arrives to oslo control at the airport is not polite type why not speak Norwegian and other different questions that are not too pleasant try to learn the language but not for everyone it is easy so please some understanding
Thank you
Not organised. If you come at midnight (everything is closed) prepare yourself to sleep on the floor if your flight is in the morning but only until 5am (shops are opening). They should put something else instead of chairs because a lot of people are waiting during the night. If you want a bottle of water, it will cost you a lot if you don't have Norwegian Krone. ATM will give you only minimum of 200nk (20£). If you want to pay in Euros, for a water and a juice it's 16€ in the POINT shop and they don't accept coins, which means 20€. Coffee machine was without sugar and milk. Don't waste money if you see other cups around it. Free Wi-Fi was the only good thing.
Inconsistent baggage rules (made us carry part of our paid luggage whereas from london it was fine), extremely rude staff on the shops and only 2/3 shops open in the morning- prepare your own meal because £7 a baguette is way too much! Seating areas are 1/10 of the capacity of a plane resulting on everybody standing. If you have a choice, save yourself from rygge airport!
Small but very convenient. You can't possibly get lost in a small airport. Airport personel were friendly. Signs/directions are clear and in English. There is a shuttle/bus available to and from Oslo city (1 hour). with cheap flights, nothing i can complain.
