This is a really basic "hotel". They charge you even for the towels if you wanna take a shower. Clean but rooms are small.

Very modern, upmarket bed and breakfast with a backpackers vibe. Clean, convenient accommodation right in the centre of Bergen. Close to all the basic tourist attractions.

Nice stay, staff is so lovely. I got female room with bathroom inside, but has a lot of wc and shower room outside too. Everything is clean especially floor, you can walk bare foot. But kitchen is too small and very traffic in dining time. Kitchenware is so dirty, it look like someone don't know how too clean it.

Overall we had a great stay at the Marken Guesthouse. There were plenty of bathrooms and showers so you never had to wait. Dorm rooms were spacious, with plenty of light, and the beds were comfortable. It was also a quick walk to town and the train station. My only complaint was that one of the people staying there stole our food out of the fridge which was a really petty act. Not really the fault of the hostel but still annoying.

This is the first time I stay in a hostel. I was a bit scare about sharing room with strangers but this place made me feel real safe. The common area was so clean and neat. The bath rooms are constantly kept clean. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful pointing things like where and what to do. I would highly recommend this place even though you never stay in a hostel before. Also need to mention this place is so close to town and the train station.

Great location near center of Bergen, walking distance to many attractions, shops, and restaurants. Nice amenities, but lots of guests here, which can be ok. Bit of street noise at night from nearby bars. Door entrance can be tricky because the building is shared with other businesses. If using a keyed credit card, be conscious of the time you said of arrival; it will only work then. Rooms are modest but the price is phenomenal and the other guests are respectful too. Reception is friendly and helpful, otherwise.

Convenient location at the midway between central station and the major tourist area. Staffs are nice. Toilets are clean. I liked the vintage elevator the most!

Best value for Bergen. Rooms very clean, big lockers on room at no cost, nice beds, many showers were clean with a stool, nice kitchen, just one washing machine and drier but price was cheap for Norway. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable, checkout at 12pm which is a plus and they offer free storage for your luggage. This was a find! And location is very near centre with flat walking distance.
