One of the most outstanding wine lists in the world.

Expensive, but worth the price. Intimate to the point of the chef coming out to see if we enjoyed the meal.

Very happy with my experience at this restaurant. Tried reindeer for the first time and it was excellent. If I'm ever back in this region of Norway again I will definitely return.

Very cosy restaurant with traditional Norwegian fare. We had the venison and reindeer which were very tender. It was served with delicious mashed potatoes and veggies. Highly recommended.

Great food, lovely wine. Nice atmosphere in what seems to be an original and traditionally-decorated Norwegian building in the centre of the village. The chef prepared a vegetarian option on request, which was delicious. They have a huge wine store, and there were some very big numbers on the wine list. The house wine was great though, and a little easier on the wallet.

Don't get me wrong, the food is superb. But slow, and not with the food, with other things that shouldn't have to be like ordering drinks and getting the bill. And one thing i didn't like last time was the poor ventilation, the room was packed with smoke and in the end i had a nice headache.
But even so, i will come back, the food is really good!response / report this review -

Had the mandatory wafflers and a cup of coffee both was neither bad or something special. Found the price high but think is normal for this kind of place
