Nice cheap hotel. Very good option for backpackers, who need to stay 1-2 nights in Oslo or to wait for flight connection. Very clean in shared spaces. Very small rooms. Strange lamps, a little bit hot in august. Good connection to train station and underground. Pleasant surrounding, botanical garden, Munch museum. Hotel has small cafe in the same building. Not wheelchair accessible (at least some parts). Very friendly staff.

Nice, cozy rooms. Beds are quite hard. BUT, the showers are cold within two minutes, really uncomfortable. The hotel should do something about it!

Summary: POOR WIFI, STUPIDLY HOT ROOMS

Even during autumn the room was insanely hot, with no way to cool it down other than having the windows open all night. We chose the hotel for its free wifi but this was extremely poor, slow and kept disconnecting.

I spoke with the staff and they said they would help with both of the above issues. Perhaps they tried but it made no difference.

I give the hotel 2 stars because there are facilities (dishwasher, microwave, cooker, fridge-freezer) though the microwave was useless because it shut down for 15 minutes every 2 minutes, presumably overheating. They said they do not do room service.

It's the first time I've upgraded from a hostel to a hotel but hostels generally have working wifi and comfortable rooms - next time I'm staying at a hostel instead.

The staff should get classes in costumer service, because you dont stand behind the desk with your chin in your palm when helping costumers. And then the room was nothing like the one we ordered, and that was even though we had called befor arriving to check if everything was alright. The parking costs is ridiculously high. And when we ordered food we first waited 30min for it before we went down to ask about it. Another 45min later the food came but was stone cold. The room was okey enough, seemed clean, and housekeeping changed towels and and the bed. And what was a kitchen didn't have as much as a pot you could boil an egg in. Safe to say I'll not be staying at this hotel, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel imaginable.
    1. No air conditioning. How rooms wind up at or over 80 degrees when it's 60 outside is unknown.
    2. No phone/no cell service and the internet bounces every 10 minutes.
    3. No fire or smoke alarms. With rooms at the end of a very narrow corridor and no ventilation anyone in these rooms would die if a fire broke out.
    4. Windows without screens. Might be awesome if you want to take a shortcut to get out of your room and go onto the street but that means anyone on the street can go into your room! Talk about being safe!
    5. Speaking of safety there is no lock or chain on the door.
    6. The staff is rude, when you tell them your room is hot they want you to know that there are other rooms that are even hotter. This is customer dis-service not customer service.
    7. The shower doors don't fit on the tread, nothing like getting water all over the floor.
    8. Housekeeping doesn't actually make the bed, they just lay the sheet on the bed. They probably can't deal with the heat either.
I'm sure that in the winter they might have a handful of adequate accommodations but not in the summer unless one really likes to feel stifled and hot.

Nice reception, but the "apartments" are more line dorms and the staff are not particularly friendly.

Fanstastic location for a short stay. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Really clean, comfortable and quiet. Would recommend.

The rooms are very small but clean. Conveniently located near to the Tøyen subway station where it takes only 4.min to get downtown.
I liked that it´s near to some restaurants and a grocery store and within 30.min walking distance of the downtown area.
    Nice hotel staff and helpful.

My booking in an other hotel was not carried out, so this place was an emergency solution, i should be glad. But.
The staff didn't behave too friendly. The plugs were placed strange on the ceiling for example, or in the corner far from everything. The wall painting was not 100%, the doorsteps were too high. There was an oven but nothing to put in or on it, so no dishes.
The view was really good but i was on the top floor, with two balconies. The bed was extremely comfortable, but i like hard beds. Breakfast was good, but i just ate muzli with oats and fruits.
