Upmarket department store comparable with Liberty of London or Selfridge's. Worth the visit.

stores are good. Restaurant can do better. An asian woman/man took our order. He was really unfriendly (chagrijnig) and looked so stressed. We ordered grilled salmon with fries. He/she said we can pay it in advanced and it will be brought to the table. We waited and waited. No salmon was brought to the table. When I followed up on our order, a different employee was in charge of grill section. He said the salmon meals were brought back to the kitchen because no one knows for who they were.😒..
Service was awful. Never going back there. Not even a proper apology was given.response / report this review -

It's ok as department stores go limited ranges but lots of names at high prices. For example DM kids shoes were €15 more expensive than the DM store!

Big store, you get lost easily. The store does offer a lot of variations of fashion. You be able to drink coffee here to.

Although still renovating.. the new Bijenkorf is a lovely high end department store.. great restaurant, well organised.

The new and refurbished building is very nice, as I visit Utretch I always try to go to the Bijenkorf.

I don't understand what happened to this Bijenkorf. It doesn't at all give off the luxury vibe you expect all through-out one of these department stores. The entrance floor is small and not at all appealing. The selection is small compared to other Bijenkorf locations. It's dark.
