A great experience. Nice service, nice outside seating and a great beer selection. I had a beer which definitely was something wrong with. I took 2 or 3 sips, checked again and decided to bring it back. The staff also tried it and removed it from the bill without any discussions or being mad at me. Thank you!

Great place to find Dutch beer! They always have a good variety of local classics and small batch craft. Staff knows their beer, and the borrel snacks are super 'lekker'

My favorite bar in Amsterdam.
Dutch beer may not get the recognition it deserves as Beilgians' but those who taste samples would know it is as great as the neighbor's.
If you are into beer and in Amsterdam, this is a must.

Wonderful staff and beer list. My wife and I spent a very nice weekday afternoon here - small crowd and we were able to easily have conversations with the staff and other customers.

Awesome variety of Dutch beers; prob best place in town for Dutch beer and jenever tasting. Friendly staff. Cozy place. Usually crowded place but there are extra sitting outside on the canal or downstairs as well.

Amazing selection of drinks. There is indoor seating and outdoor seating next to the canal. They also have small cold plates to snack as you socialize and have a drink. Would definitely recommend for someone who wants a drink as they relax and admire the city.

Arendsnest is probably one of the best pubs in Amsterdam.
They have something like 52 taps and only Dutch beers.
There's plenty of choice and it might take few minutes to decide which beer to order, but you can always ask the staff for a suggestion.
If the place is not packed they'll be more than happy to help.
Definitely a place you want to stop if you want to indulge yourself with a nice cold Dutch beer.

Delightful pub with a vast selection of delicious beers. Flights of small amounts are available. There is ample space to sit outside on the banks of the canal. My favourite of all the pubs we visited on our trip. I think food was available but we did not try it. If I visit Amsterdam in future, I'll try to find a place to stay near this pub so I can end my day there with a drink every evening!

Got in the bar with two friends almost empty at 4pm on a Tuesday. I told the bolt bartender that we were excited to try some local Dutch stuff. The answer was: "all of them are dutch and good."

After some other unnecessary rude answers such as "a tripel is not a taste" and "she knows everything besides the name of the beer" we just decided to leave as there was no reason for us to remain there as we felt clearly unwelcome (with apparent no reason).

It was a real shame as I was truly excited to visit this place after several recommendations I was given. I also work in a craft beer pub in London, and I've never seen such an ostile attitude, ever. Shame!

Super veel keus uit bier, maar veel toeristen die op hun biertocht maar 1 biertje drinken. Voorheen kon je hier lekker rustig een biertje doen met andere hollanders. Nu is het een toeristentrekpleister en eigenlijk niet echt prettig meer. Personeel is vriendelijk, maar te druk en daardoor onpersoonlijk.

About 100 beers available. 100 beers. Served by a bloke with a big beard who is happy to discuss beers and make recommendations. Lovely attractive place. If you like beer, check this place out, only downside, not much seating so I imagine in the summer the place will be mental.
