It’s a movie theater. In Amsterdam Centrum. Nicely renovated, self-service snacks, and they even have a popcorn mixing station, for more than just sweet or salty!
Still no butter popcorn though. This continent just doesn’t get it.
This theater is great. The seats are spacious and comfortable. The quality of the screen and sound system is great!
Really nice cinema, we watched the Joker and had a good time. The sits are comfortable and there's a lot of room to your legs and cup. Most movies are in English but I do recommend you to check ahead.
Film with 12 screens, newly renovated. Staff are very helpful. All in all a top rate cinematic experience! Snacks and drinks are, as is the norm at avarice prices!!
It was really nice going to the movies here. I had so much fun watching frozen. The venue is large and you get to create your own pop corn and buy snacks inside.
I love it, It's big. The people are friendly. You can go there with public transport. Or just walk from central station (15-/+)
Nice atmosphere in an old building.. Normal pricing for tickets and food. Of course no parking place in the city center..
One of the finest cinema's in Amsterdam. Good movies (of course) and very friendly service, no matter whom you meet of the staff. Clean toilets and a great atmosphere.
Beautifully decorated cinema. Everything you'd expect from a modern cinema. Good size screen. Excellent sound quality. And my favourite thing is that in the Netherlands they play the English language film and put Dutch subtitles on 😊
Great cinema at a convenient location. Cinema snacks and beverages are always overpriced, so don't expect amazing deals here. However, make sure to bring your student with you if you're a student for a nice discount on your ticket!
Pathe De Munt has a lot of new movies. Although not all the cinema Halls are big but it's the best after Pathe Arena
Another pathe! Not fancy as the hall 1 from the pathe next door but good.
We bought ticketswe took the queu for snacks where we also wasted time with showing ID for one beer and the slow service. Than at the entrance we couldn't pass because we were late 10-15min. Nobody said to us when we payed we should be hurry otherwise we can not enter. This is ridiculous, because before the movie usually 15min trailers and promotionsi used to go there every week and people are coming late to the room. They offered another movie what we obviously didn't want to watch. Than they gave back our money. Still i think it was not necessary procedure from the staff. From now i will go definitely spend my money at Thuschinski.
The unlimited pass is not really a pass. Couple of conditions to watch out for:
They reward their 'best' customers by:
-you have to turn up 10 minutes early or they forfeit your seat. Sometimes it's just sold. then sit through 30 minutes of previews. Not designed for busy people.
-they let you book >1 unlimited card for a movie online but you have to pick up the ticket 1 by 1, not under the name of person that booked all tickets. This means you end up sitting in different places to your friends.
-really sub par cinema comparing it internationally.
Run of the mill, big chain cinema. Shows mostly blockbusters. Expect comfy seating, decent sound systems and popcorn. There are nicer (independent) cinemas in Amsterdam.
