We saw this shop while browsing through the streets of Amsterdam looking for a strap for a 2022 Speedmaster Professional. This shop specializes in vintage watches but also has a great collection of watch straps. Frans is an amazing guy and we had lots of fun chatting about watches. He was very helpful exchanging and showing me the straps on my watch. The store in general and the watches presented are quite fascinating. I bought two straps and left happy. Thank you very much and see you in future.

I went in today ready to purchase an Omega Speedmaster. Quite rapidly I changed my mind, largely thanks to the absolutely shocking service I received from the woman there.
Firstly, she was extremely rushy. It's almost as though my purchase was keeping her from her break, or perhaps a kettle was boiling.
Secondly, I had to point out it was not an official Omega leather strap, she was not forthcoming with the information. It was greeted with, "it is, if you look at inside at the Oh, well it's the same leather".
Then I asked to see the box and additional items. Again, I had to point out the fact that the magnifier was missing. Someone could easily not know it should have been there.
Then I asked if it had been serviced recently (it was a 2005 model), and the response was "yeah, we got this in last week". A very ambiguous response, but by this point I'd entirely checked out.
I asked about tax, and was promptly shut down. Fair enough if it doesn't apply, but you work in retail. Treat customers with respect and they may write good reviews.
When buying a second hand watch transparency is key for me, and I didn't get that here.
Won't be returning here, which is a shame. Awesome collection.response / report this review -

Great vintage watch shop! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff even though I didn’t purchase a watch (unfortunately). Will definitely make another visit here next time I’m in town.

Thy completely ruined my watch! I brought to them a vintage 18k Omega from 1952 because it began to run slow. Because I had the watch for approximately 3,5 years they concluded that it had to be serviced and cleaned so I let them do it.
Apart from a few surface-scratches and a small dent in the backplate, it was completely flawless as if it has only been worn on a few occasions. But although I did not specifically asked for it, they also decided to polish the case. They polished it to a point where no edge was crisp anymore but slightly rounded. They also decided to redo the metal brush on the backplate, but because of the small dent, this completely failed. It now looks as if some kid scratched it on a piece of sanding paper. They also polished the crown to a point where the gold plating just fell of, so it had to be replaced by a new one which has a slightly different shade of gold.
They told me that the polishing of the cabinet was described on the offer and that it is standard on all the watches they receive and I had to specifically ask them not to do it. They claim to be experts in vintage watches, but I simply can not understand that you just put a steel brush on any watch that you receive. Absolutely unacceptable!response / report this review -
