Location was convenient as it was opposite the train station. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable.

Nice hotel. Not too expensive, however the breakfast wasn't as good as I expected. The rooms are tidy and not too small. Comfortable beds and the bathrooms were nice.

Basic accommodation, good value for money. The best feature of the hotel is its location, directly opposite the train and bus station. The rooms are small, but have comfortable beds, and are quite without any traffic noise. The staff is always friendly and efficient.

The biggest positive of my stay so far was the option to do early check in. I arrived by red-eye flight to AMS, which got me to Leiden by around 8. I was so tired and being able to nap and shower right away was a huge relief. The check in staff I encountered was friendly. The rooms are small and minimally appointed but not uncomfortable. We did have a problem with the bathroom lock, but I am hoping it is handled soon, and am interested to see what the complimentary breakfast is like. All in all, a convenient option.

Good location right across Leiden Centraal train station and within walking distance of the city centre. Rooms arent too big, but the location largely makes up for it.

This hotel is located across the street from the Leiden Centraal train station and a 4 minute walk to The Pit of Leiden with great restaurants, art, and historical buildings. The breakfast at the hotel has a little for everyone including local meats and cheeses. The rooms are clean and quiet, and very affordable on a budget.

For what it is, quite nice. Clean rooms with good budget hotel standard. The location can't possibly get any more convenient, and despite the central location, there's very little traffic noise. The breakfast is mediocre, and not worth the steep price. If you have time to go somewhere else, there are many better and cheaper places in central Leiden for breakfast. The aircondition in our room was so loud we couldn't have it turned on while sleeping.

Some have called the rooms cosy, I just thought our room was small and claustrophobic! Despite the window being closed there was a cold draft coming through (on a particularly cold night), because the air conditioning/heater made such a racket, we couldn't use it to keep the room warm. We also knew exactly when the neighbours were having a shower or using the toilet as you could hear through the walls clearly. To cap it all, it was obvious the room used to be a smoking room as the tobacco stench still permeated the sheets.
All said though, it was inexpensive and located in a prime spot right in the heart of the town. The staff were also friendly and helpful and the breakfast was OK, so not a complete disaster. Will refer to this as the Abyss rather than the Ibis though.
