The hotel is beautiful, but I've been waiting on a room for quite some time. Had a reservation. Check in is supposed to be 3pm, but because I got here early I was hoping to get in my room earlier due to a long flight. It is now after 3 and still no room. At this point can't give more than 3 stars, and should probably be less.
Update: I was finally able to check into my room sometime after 4pm after having initially arrived at 10am after a 9 hour flight. When I checked out I had been charged extra for a number of things I didn't receive, such as parking (I wasn't driving), breakfast (I never are at the hotel) and a complementary bottle of wine, which I never took because I don't drink. The wine was offered as an apology for the late check in. Everything was supposed to be removed from my bill, but I missed that the wine charge was left. Needless to say I am very unhappy about being charged for something that I didn't even receive and that was supposed to be complementary in the first place.response / report this review -

I attended a wedding here and the service was impeccable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location has many parking lots should you arrice by car. The main hall is huge and nicely decorated for the special night.

Lovely hotel by the sea, very nice inside though not an architectural gem from outside. The beach house is fantastic and would be a great place in the summer I imagine. Friendly helpful staff.

Went there for a work conference. Spatious rooms, nice staff, comfy bed with multiple pillow options, but I would say the decor is a bit dated and inconsistent. Would recommend though.

The largest hotel in Noordwijk. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. The views from the seaside rooms are the best in the area. Enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend the hotel.

From the outside this may look like a five star hotel but its service, food and staff amount to a one star. Over priced for what you get. Staff are useless, food is very ordinary and over priced. The breakfast is a disaster - a massive palatial ball room with waiters walking around like they're in a movie but don't dare ask any of them for anything as they go off and never return. Room service is a joke. And please do not ask this hotel for MILK - they call it creamer and its dark brown and warm - like condensed milk. And don't ask for tea - they bring you hot water in a glass. Five star hotel but no separate shower - you have to shower in the bath.
Been all over the world and this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.response / report this review -

Very elegant hotel. Close to the beach. Nice food at the hotel and lots of options around. If only weather was nice we would have had a perfect trip.

One of those places where I melt in the atmosphere 👌👌. Best place on the Dutch sea coast. Returned after numerous attempts of having a varied experience (even though I have to travel there while could have gone to Scheveningen😨)

The lobby and general guest areas are stunning, the views and access to the beach are wonderful. The halls with the rooms and the rooms themselves are showing their age. Meals in the hotel are either too highbrow European, or too basic, so I would recommend eating in town when possible.
The staff are fantastic, helpful and very accommodating for requests and information.response / report this review
