Great staff, always welcome me super smily. Very new equipments and clean facilities. Totally recommended!
Finger way from!!!!! The 1 week test program is a traptherefor you sign a contract to become a member. To cancel the contract you still have to do with lots of arrogancelack of professionalism or they are desperate, or both.
Very clean with tons of great classes. The equipment is up to date and although it's more expensive than other gyms in the area, it's a lot more quiet and well worth the few extra euros.
Verey gd gym
High on price, low on utility. Way more expensive than it should be, with poor responsiveness from staff/personnel (after six months of membership and multiple requests for an intake appointment with a trainer, or even just asking about availability of trainers, there was no reply or response). This is only made worse by a bizarre pricing structure that for some reason renews from a quarterly off-peak membership to a (most expensive) full-price monthly membership without warning.
Classes are clearly scheduled for people who have lots of free time during the day, rather than working professionals, and the gym is almost always packed to the point of being a waste of time: a 60-minute workout is about 35-45 minutes of just waiting for equipment to be free. On the plus side, when I went in to cancel my membership, they were fairly polite and efficient about the whole thing.
It was ok. Very much class oriented and the gym is an afterthought I think. The class I observed was packed (which is a good sign).
First the positive: good selection of equipment; many different training methods could be incorporated. The place was reasonably clean, and had a half decent atmosphere. Now the bad: while the reception staff was friendly enough, at the end of my session while making my way towards the exit (I was deadlifting followed by squats to hammer my legs off) a female staff member approached me and informed me that belts are not allowed here. Her words exactly were "we don't want this [pointed to my belt] in our gym"! :O I was polite enough to calmly respond "Ok, its no problem, I have finished and am leaving now." She then told me not to return with said belt!!!!! Now I could understand if I was using chalk leaving a mess, (I wasn't). I was quietly lowering the bar on each rep while both deadlifting and squatting and was not grunting so made virtually no noise! I was polite to other gym members and helped moving their weights for them. I put all my weights back after use and put the bar back after finishing too. Imo that is all good gym etiquette. Now bare in mind I paid 20euro to use the gym once to complete my usual powerlifting routine while on holiday, and I myself was clean, quiet and polite. Male staff members were around me while I trained and they didn't tell me the belt was not appropriate at this place. At the entrance/reception I informed the lady I only wanted to deadlift, she didn't tell me belts weren't allowed here either. While doing my dl session I did warm up sessions without the belt and 5 sets with the belt, while squatting I did 2 warm up sets without and 5 with. The belt is there to protect your back while performing heavy movements. It made no difference to anybody else training here other than myself to -protect- my lower back. Overall if you are used to poncy gyms or just doing cardio then this isn't a bad place. If you are doing anything heavy bodybuilding / weightlifting / powerlifting / strongman then do not even think about this place; anything light and you should be fine.
its really the worst club I have been seen, I registerd monthly in this club and at the end of the second month I went to the group lesson i checked in by my ID and entered and the boy at the reception ( he is acting like a children ) he said for me why you didn't take a card from the machine? I told him: because you didn't tell me before that I should take card for the group lesson, then he begun speaking in a rude way : ( I am angry iam angry ) so I told him that I want to end my membership he tried to make me angry and he come close to me and tried to irritate me to hit him inside the club but I didn't so he gave me my ID and I ended my member ship. If you hit him you will put your self in problems with court and police. So I advice every body especially people who are not from here : do not register in this club because the strategy of this club is very bad and they use the law in a bad way especially with strangers because they do not know the law
my new sport place. visiting there for 3 times a week. after many years without gym, over there i feel at home. the team is always friendly from the first moment. the showers are always clean, the equipment is the best and they have the Egym, that is amazing and smart. prices are not cheap compere to others, but you get something good for sure!
I think it's too expensive for what you get. The gym is nice and maintained but too often too crowded. No flexibility with contracts at all. Lots of personnel working but to me it seems like they stand around talking to each other a lot. Both administrative and gym staff. I see how that gets expensive for a gym. After 8 months there I will now go somewhere else as I have no feeling the are keen on keeping their customers.
