They ran out of free glasses, I was told it would take two weeks or more to come back into stock. The area is really nice. The bar is small but a nice place to sit, if you can find seating. I ordered an alcoholic cocktail - pretty sure what I got had no alcohol in it

Fun atmosphere for a quick bite or for drinks with friends. Staff at the bar is a bit loud, but in a fun and engaging way. If you want a quiet, gently paced atmosphere this is not your place though. Food is pretty good, prices are reasonable given the prime location and the brand. Only thing that has me reducing one star is that they messed up our food order and softly tried to have us pay for it (we didn't).

Passed inevitably by Hard Rock Amsterdam for dinner on our last night in the city. The reception was friendly, the staff was attentive and fast. The food was good although i was expecting better taste especially the burger. The prices are as expected. Excellent music and view. Overall recommended.

Hands down the best vegetarian burger I have ever tasted. And the cheesecake? Well, I almost melted, it was so delicious. It was not cheap but I believe you get what you pay for and here I just had the best meal I was not expecting at all. The staff seems overly enthusiastic at times but that is better then not being enthusiastic at all. Highly recommend it.

Still one of the best places to get a great burger in the Netherlands! Great atmosphere and vibes set by the scenery and friendly international staff. Good place just for drinks too. Got some very interesting suggestions from the barkeeper. Must go but DO make reservations!

Food was over priced and pretty average. One of the worst Hard Rock Cafes I've been to. Staff were over pushy in regard to the merchandise and offers

    A great hard rock cafe.
I went to the "rock shop" and also to the restaurant.

The rock shop had a great selection of local pins, as well as a few shirts etc.

The restaurant was great. The service was quick. The beer was cold. The fajitas, were great. Overall a very good experience.

    It was wonderful

The waiter that served me was the best waiter that served me ever. She was so funny and entertained everyone on the beautiful table next to the river.

    Good:
    • The menu was great, drinks tasted very good and the food was very good as well

    • The typically Hard Rock fan shop was great

    • the pricing was reasonable

    Bad:
    • Well There ain't bad things there.

All in all it was so good that the waiter got a more than usually high tip.

Among the numerous Hard Rock Cafés I have visited from Niagara Falls to Munich, the establishment in Amsterdam is one of my personal favorites. It's located in a calmer place of the beautiful city right next to a gracht. You can observe boats passing by on the terrace on a sunny day. Staff members are particularly friendly. Decorations and merchandise sections are great as usual. Prices are quite steep which is however the case in all Hard Rock Cafés.

3.5, but It's a Hard Rock what do you expect. Decent food but waaaay overpriced, drinks too! Service as friendly and prompt. Not a bad experience at all. At least you get a consistent meal and experience no matter where you are in the world. For those rating HR 5..give me a break. Have you not ever had a good meal or experience before to base ratings against? These must be same people that would rate McDonald's a 5 as well. If I could rate half stars I would have rated a 3.5

Incredible service, tasty burger and rock&roll atmosphere. Despite the fact that hard rock cafe are very touristy I had a great experience. Keep on rocking people!

The waiter was very friendly and helpful. First Hard Rock Cafe I've been to and it was great!

Wasn't too busy and both the food and cocktails were served very fast. The cocktails were also very nice.

Like any other Hard Rock Cafe around the world. The food is always good and the music is enjoyable. You can also get a seat with a view of the canal, which is very nice.
