I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!
We were in a group and we were supposed to have a full explanation about diamonds in a room and then have a glance of the recent collection products.
But… the diamonds for the explanations didn’t arrive on time so the lady (who reallllly wanted to sell her jewels) started showing the products. We waited and waited… the tube with the diamonds for the explanation finally arrived but the lady really meant to sell her products and didn’t care explaining… and we ended up with a sale but no explanations at all which was the reason we visited the place!
I personally had the chance to meet the loveliest person, Edwin, who explained to me a little about diamond shaping and how he worked. Thank you Edwin for making the visit worth it!response / report this review -

It like a simple jewelry. Not much to see. There is no museum, no demonstration of the process of creating diamonds.

An OK tour to learn a little about diamonds. Good that it was included in the cost of our hop on hop off tour as separate, it would be worth it in my view. Maybe if you are from Africa You may want to avoid, Diamonds are mainly from Africa.

If you have an hour to kill, it's not too shabby. Great gift store here with actually unique stuff that also provides free coffee as well. The free tour is two parts, which together are less than an hour.

It was an amazing experience there. Something new to learn. The guide was polite, nice and very well trained. And the tour is absolutely free. Do not miss this one in Amsterdam. :)

They offer a free tour in which they explain the different things about diamonds and help you with queries and you can try on some diamond rings too Very informative

This diamond factory is the best diamond factory in Amsterdam. Tours are for free and very interesting. Before the second world war, this diamond factory was the biggest in Europe. Recommendable visit in Amsterdam

Its famous for its unique 121cut diamonds!! Pricey collection! Can spend an hour in here! Entry is free with Hop on hop off with a guided tour! Delft store is very pricey with the same items available in stores in central!

Place to learn how they prepare the diamonds for the sales. But it's more a place to buy diamonds and not to learn the history of diamonds. Visit more commercial than effective learning. People who would like to know how they calculate the prices of diamonds will be delighted. Great collection of Rolex.
