They have great beers, especially really rare German beers that you won't find in any other place here in Amsterdam. Staff and interior are really nice! During the lockdown they are opened from Thursday till Sunday from 11 till 6PM to buy nice beer and help them to get rid of their stock. They sell nice pretzels to bake off at home and also nice weisswurst.

Very fun and unique place for a coffee or drink. Very centrally located and if you step inside it's going back in time. They also offer a big variety of board games. Nice crowd goes here.

Fresh pretzels with herb cream. Nice coffee and cold drinks. Enjoyed the charming decor and atmosphere. Also strolling through the nearby parks was nice.

Terrible customer service with rude bartenders. Spent a cozy evening here ordering drinks with friends. Towards the end of the night I ordered a cider which tasted incredibly sour and like it had spoiled. When I asked the bartender if I could possibly switch it for something else she was incredibly rude to me and acted like I was being incredibly unreasonable saying "well I already opened it so I can't serve it to somebody else".. which missed the point completely. I told her I wouldn't be ordering anything else and she and her coworker made faces at each other about me. This was very disappointing because all the drinks till then were lovely and it was a very cute bar.

Really nice German beer selection. Berlin style bar with a nice crowd and nice vibe. One of my favourite bars in the neighbourhood

Lovely little living room with vintage furnishing. Perfect place to mingle with strangers. Be sure to go in early to get a seat. Great selection of beer and the drinks are priced on a par with other bars in Amsterdam.

I'm from England, but I live in Amsterdam (and this may sound hypocritical) but it's nice to be in a bar where it's not full of tourists! It's near the Heineken experience and it's very cosy. From my experience the staff were kind and the beer is so cheap! I always go here when I'm meeting up with friends :)

Nice Berlin atmosphere! Amazing music and you can chill playing board games also!!

An effort in cleaning will upscale this venue!!

Lovely place reminiscent of the kind of bar you'd find in Hamburg. Great choice of beer. No frills yet no place like it in Amsterdam.

Nice drinks but INCREDIBLY long wait. Asked to order fifteen minutes ago but have not been acknowledged after that. Just want to eat the cheap food! Please!

Interesting theme bar. Very much in the spirit of a Berlin bar, eclectic seating and decor. Nice staff, good cocktails. Different from most other options in Amsterdam.

Stopped off for a quick bite to eat before heading back to the airport. I really wish we'd found it earlier. Lovely quaint café where one can relax and absorb some tranquility, read a book or just listen to the music playing softly in the background. Good coffee and tea selection and some alcohol too if that floats your boat. Everything reasonably priced. Will be back again soon

Cosy bar with a very unique interior. Lots of different changing beers (especially German, Czech) coming through so make sure you come back regularly. It's a popular place so when it gets busy it'll be packed with hipsters and there will be bears and flannel as far as you can see. See if you can get the "god seat" it's a booth close to the bar and a bit aside best spot in the house 10/10
