Great service, the bikes were all individually cool and special! The stuff even spoke german with us and gave us great tips for the ride! Also the cheapest prize i've seen of bike rental stores in Amsterdam! 100% recommend!!!

I rented a bike from these guys for riding around Amsterdam and going into the countryside on a 3-day bike tour. The staff was very friendly and helpful, with no annoying up-selling. The bike was great, blended in with local's bikes, and was well-tuned. The price included insurance, multi-tool, tire repair kit, pump, and panniers. They also had plenty of good recommendations for lesser-known fun things to do around town.

After a failed attempt to rent bikes from the shop across from our hotel, we found Fredric bike rentals and we are so glad that we did! Everyone at this family owned business was friendly and welcoming. Each bike is unique and not painted an obnoxious color that screems tourist, one of the most refreshing parts of the experience is that we were treated like people and not cattle.

With reasonable prices, the bikes may be a bit aged and tired but they are fine. The owners are very welcoming and french-speaking.

Would have been four stars if it wasn't for the two fools working in the shop -- they were both rude & condescending. Learn how to treat customers guys. Wouldn't recommend this place because of them. Fair price and a lovely more helpful woman working there who took care of the paperwork and exercised much more class.
