Too expensive. I'm from Switzerland and here you need to pay 25 to 30 Swiss Francs. Here in FRAAIJ I paid 50 euros. Than ny friend didnt want to cut his hair and we went to other place and he paid 16 euros. His haircut is same as mine, even better.

Just the best I have been to in a long long time. I have not been to the hairdresser's in 3 months but, now, I would not have anyone else touch my hair! He makes it so beautiful!!!

Martijn is amazing. He knows how to style, color and solve a problem. He even opened for me once just to get me ready for a dinner party. My entire family goes here now.

The stylist here is very good but 50€ for a haircut and wash is just criminal. Discuss pricing before you sit in the chair.

I am very happy to have gone to Martijn. He has done an excellent job and helped me with my decision to change from a long to a short haircut. Although it was a big change for me, it feels just natural and right. I highly recommend Martijn.

Martijn, seems like a nice guy and he has a great shop and dog, Mr. Simon. He is very welcoming and is a good stylist however the overall experience felt comparable to a doggy mechanic whereby he goes ahead does whatever he likes and then springs the total cost on you at the end.
My wife was booked in for a treatment and haircut which would've cost 95€. Instead we walked away with a total bill of 370€.
How did this happen: it was suggested that a few highlights would help 'bring life into her hair'. A few highlights resulted in being a full head fashion colour with very little consult.
On top of that was the hair treatment she was booked in for which was supposed to be 35€. Instead she was given a treatment that was 150€.
This treatment wasn't even listed on the store price listing. (Online, nor physically in-store listings). The worst part about this was that it wasn't mentioned until we had to pay the bill at the end.
This payment was unable to be paid via card either, I had go for a walk a few hundred metres in order to withdraw cash.
This was apparently because they had only moved into the new store which is questionable.
My wife was not completely happy with the result either.
During their conversations she mentioned that previously she had colour but she chose to dye it to try and make it one colour, he then dyed it with a full head of fashion colour highlights.
Aside from being a nice guy with a cute dog, you have to be really trusting in his art, (which he obviously loves) and have really deep pockets to go far beyond your initial expected cost if you're going to walk out of this experience happy.
Fraaij is probably suited to some, but not for the everyday person.
In the end he did give us an 8€ discount and chucked in a shampoo though

Martijn is a real hair artist. Even though I am having a super short haircut nowadays the perfection he puts into it is what I love about it. I can strongly recommend him. Adding to that he is a great guy..always a good story to tell..fun seeing him every time.
