No parking organization. Very poor capacity and flow of security. And then the security lady asks you to repack your fluids from 1 clear plastic bag to the other. with 1000 people waiting behind you
Good airport for low-cost flights to lots of European destinations. 24 minutes city bus connection to the nearby, central Eindhoven train station. Usually quick to get through security — up to 30 minutes when it's busy — and the staff are usually smiling professionals. Aside from a single post-security there's a shop with snacks, chocolates, alcohol, and Dutch treats such as stroppwaffels; a simple cafeteria style restaurant (serves beer); and for flights heading outside of the Schengen zone, a small 2-kiosk border passport check (a long queue might take 15-20 minutes) before gates 8, 9, & 10. In the pre-security area, there's a mini Albert Hijn grocery shop (drinks, snacks, & sandwiches) and a single souvenir shop with lots of generic Dutch souvenirs, though neither are open late, as well as a coffee shop. For arrivals, a number of car rental services.
The worst airport in the worldI stayed for one hour outside the airport because they are closed in the night. The temperature outside was -2° C and many people had passed entire night outside because they didn't know the airport hour's.
Firstly if I pay for a ticket in the early morning I can't wait that they open the airport.
Secondly if they have problem with security or homeless they can check the tickets and put the travellers inside (many little airport do this). At the end maybe it's our fault that we don't check the airport hour's but at least I expect that it's the first notice on the airport website. It's only write at the end of the page in lowercase.
Very small airport with convenient Bus service from the city. The cheapest shop is Albert heijn to go. Buying any quick snack from the city is the best. Nice facilities, the waiting chairs are the worst and not enough. Plug sockets available in coffee shop table near the info desk.
It is a very small and very busy airport.
You can lose your plane very easy due to their very poor organization.
You have to wait very long for the security control.
I don't feel safe in this airport.
Honestly one of the best - if not the best - regional airports I have ever been in Europe. Well organized, easy to navigate through and efficient processes. Clean. Friendly staff. Definitely a good choice when traveling to Benelux, especially eastern parts of BE, southern NL or parts of DE close to NL border. Good F&B offers, not that much retail but ok.
Worst airport ever. The airport itself is perfect but rude service and THEY CLOSE 12 AM - 5 AM SO IF YOUR FLIGHT IS IN THE MORNING YOU HAVE TO SPEND THE NIGHT, OUTSIDE, SHINE OR RAIN. OLD PEOPLE WERE FROZEN
I will never go back there again! They are working the street and I parkt in the wrong place. For 5 min I had to pay 79 euro, they were not interested I saw my mistake immediatly. The women from service told me I can go back home walking if I don't have the money to pay the ticket. She should look for another job, that is not the way of treating a customer
Small but perfectly formed. No problems here. And panini was pretty great!
I think the airport is growing too fast and starts forgetting customers. I had to wait for more than 45 minutes on my luggage. There was also an unannounced belt change leaving much of the passengers in great confusion. This used to be much better in the past.
Nice airport. Not so busy as Schiphol. Free WiFi! Parking is not so expensive if you book up front.
Nice little airport. Seemed pretty clean to me and there's some places to get drinks and food. Was pretty easy to find my way around so no complaints whatsoever.
my experience was very disappointing. In my carry on i had a BALM make up remover-NOT liquid, but the guy-employee at the security check insisted that im not allowed to take it on the plane with me. As i strongly disagreed with that cause i have been travelling A LOT and never had problem with that but of course his ego was stronger-so he just threw it in the garbage with a bag of all my stuff not caring to separate my other liquids
Clean airport that has many Budget flights connecting to other parts of Europe. 2 Bus services that run to Eindhoven central and a car rental near by. Food stalls where you can grab a quick bite before your flight are also available.
Nice small airport with cheap flights around Europe. Easy to reach by public transport. No long waiting times. Parking is near terminal, but quite expensive for short time. (Les then one hour).
