Amazing service! Came here with broken a UV protector and Jeffrey and his colleague were amazing to keep the shop open to help fix the problem. He was very professional and insisted on not taking anything for it. He has a breadth of knowledgeable about his cameras and seems to love working around them. I highly recommend coming here!

wonderful place. i actually had a big problem with my camera while staying in Amsterdam. my camera fell and my lens's filter broke on it (it got stuck and i couldn't remove it by myself). the guy at the store took care of everything, with the dexterity of a heart surgeon to take off all the filter's broken pieces without leaving any mark on the lens itself. i bought there my new filter of course but they didn't accept any payment for the hard work they had to do to in order to remove the broken filter.
so, great service, fair price, very warm and welcoming place- i recommend their services to any photographer in Amsterdam!

This place needs more stars. Five isn't nearly enough.
The level of knowledge shown but the staff here was unbelievable. The commitment in making sure I got exactly the right camera for me was stunning. Even after the sale went through the sales guy, I'm an idiot I can't remember his name, spent time talking me through the functions. If I ever need a camera again I'm flying to Amsterdam and coming back. Brilliant. Just brilliant.

On two seperate occasions I have gone here to buy lens caps. The first time none in stock. The second time I was lucky enough to get the last one. Another time I needed lens cleaning fluid. The man said he had never heard of such a thing and sold me a carbon fibre cleaning pen which was very compact but didn't work. Another time I bought a photography bag. I looked at the bags and could not see any prices. When I took one to the counter and asked how much it was the man said 100 Euros (a nice round figure). I got the feeling he was sizing me up to see what he thought he could get away with charging. I foolishly bought it. I later looked on line and saw it usually went for roughly half that price. Because this shop is in Central Amsterdam I presume the proprietor's main clientele are toursts and so he feels that when they finally find it, as customers are on holiday, spending money, they won't normally be going back so he can provide shoddy service, rip people off and still make a lot of money. In short I feel this tiny shop is a tourist trap. Avoid.

Extensive choice of second-hand cameras and lenses! Staff is really knowledgable and friendly even if the small shop gets easily packed.

While staying in Amsterdam I needed a new remote shutter for my Olympus E3. All they had on the floor were new Olympus model buttons, when I was going to go elsewhere the gentleman that help me look for the buttons ran upstairs and came back with my cameras button and he saved my trip with that find. So thats why this place was amazing.

Small but good if you're using Canon. Limited array of other brands.
