  Nice place. Good food. Been here a few times and have the idea that personnel could work a bit more structured (e.g. fixed tables per waiter). Maybe they have this already but feels a bit unstructured.

  Friday experiential dinner with live jazz concert is one of the best experiences you can get in Amsterdam. After the dinner they clean up the tables and turn it into a party!

  To relate this to Americans: it's like Houston's. It's fine if you're near, not worth traveling for, but I received EXCEPTIONAL service from the bartender.

  Nothing special. Much better food around the corner. We ordered the rib-eye steak which was served with French fries and a salad. The steak comes with a bearnaisse sauce and you get (delicious) mayo for the fries.
  The steak was indeed medium, it was juicy and had a good taste, but was full of tough tendons, not just the greasy spot but chewy tendons. In general the meat was very chewy, slightly unpleasant. The fries were cold and pale, bit of a let down. The mayonnaise was delicious, 10 out of 10 for the mayo.
  Same for the other people in our party, so it wasn't a fluke.

  It seems so normal today, to have this restaurant here. But this here was more of a no go area. The people from Dauphine were the first that had the guts to invest here in this are that is mostly defined by traffic.
  But the people working in the office towers could not find a place for breakfast or lunch. And then came Dauphine. Very well designed, a not very exiting but nevertheless steady menu, very accurate and friendly staff. Perfect espresso. A lot of reasons to stop here
