A gorgeous, large, and very lively brewery bar! I drank great beer, and enjoyed the great vibes around. On a late November sunset, plenty of people were also sitting outside. The fact that we're around a windmill adds a lot of mystique.

Awesome brewery/pub. Fantastic to drink in a bar that is part of a windmill. Some really nice beers on tap and great merchandise for souvenirs. The food is pretty decent too. Situated in a really nice part of Amsterdam, it is a good venue to add as part of a bar/pub crawl. Highly recommended

Cool old school brewery in a windmill (is that a thing?!)! Good choice of beers, though some of the strong ones are a bit overrated, their IPA is excellent and quite fairly priced (though for a small glass which seems a shame). The food portions are small and the bar is quite crampt, but for a fun and trendy bar this place is great! It isn't open until late, so if you want to get a few rounds in then you need to come early!

Amazing brewery. How often you get to see a brewery in a windmill?? Fantastic local beers, have tasting flights here and tours. Usually crowded and not enough sitting available. Could use some more variety of nibbles to go with the beer.

Great chill environment, friendly bar staff, clean facilities, and great for meeting new people. Beer is also tasty and not overpriced. A great afternoon out.

BT is ahead of the curve. I first visited 4 years ago when craft brew was just beginning to make its way to Europe. The place has grown since then, but the quality and value has remained the same: an average pour is less than 4 euros; the ingredients in the beer are fresh and balanced; and the mix of locals and tourists is just the way it should be.

After 4 trips to Amsterdam we finally went out of our way to visit the Brewery. I can see if one is ONLY going to Amsterdam, and really wants to see a windmill, then maybe this would draw them in. But if you have been outside of Amsterdam and seen other windmills, this is less exciting. The beer was fine, and price was fine, but nothing about it really stuck out as being worth the venture there. Better places to eat and drink in the city.

This place is the source of the most tasty beer you can find in Amsterdam. Brouwerij t' Ij is a great place to go! Great place where both locals and tourists meet. Make sure you come early, the last round of beer is at 8pm.

Very nice place inside an old windmill and not too far from the city center. The beers are good, the glasses are a bit small for my liking, about 330ml is as large as they do. There is no table service which made no difference to me. There is some spacious outdoor seating which gets some sun.

This is in my neighbourhood so the easy access and good times with the regulars makes me biased. As good a beer as you will get in Amsterdam, poured with care and friendly attitude. It's a good place to meet up for a couple of hours.
