Rooms are small but provide everything one might need including a fridge and tea/coffee. Was the perfect location close to tram stops and shopping/food.
It's in a great location near Tran stations as well as being walkable to a lot of area attractions, food, and shopping. The rooms are very small but reasonably comfortable.
Clean, fabulous staff. The shower was a serious challenge. I did not feel at all safe in the bathroom.
Disappointed by this "4 star" hotel.
The rooms are vey small and the bathroom is old. Almost no pressure on the shower, air dryer from the 90s, towels smelled chemicals. There also is a CD reader for music in case a ghost from the 80s showed up. Only good things are the bed that is spacious and very comfortable and their "spa" which is basically a big bath tube, a solarium and a shower.
I asked for the water pressure to be checked but they didn't do anything. I then asked for an iron in the morning with steam so I can iron my shirts, this is the second morning they forgot.
Overall this hotel is not bad but will no survive loger in a modern world, they should adapt, specially for a 4 star in the heart of Asterdam.
Beautiful boutique hotel located conveniently beside the Museum Quarter. Easy to get into the city centre by jumping into a tram too. Rooms are nicely furnished and really clean.
Amazing location! Near the bus and canal tours as well as museums. Amsterdam is super walkable and this is hard to beat.
Nice hotel, clean, professional and friendly staff. Nothing crazy special. Exactly as expected but perfect for what we wanted
Good service, clean rooms, located on a nice quiet street close to many shops.
I had one of the small twin only rooms on the 2nd (3rd if you're from North America) floor. The room is tiny, but very comfortable and has everything you could need. The elevator is very helpful, as the stairs (like most European countries) are very steep and narrow. The location is amazing: 1 block to Museumplein (Van Gogh, Rijksmuseum, Diamond, Moco, Amsterdam sign, etc), 1.5 blocks to multiple tram lines, walking distances (5-10min) to the hop on/off canal/boat cruise and high end shopping, 2-3 blocks from Vondelpark...the Airport express bus 197 runs within 1.5 blocks and is about 3min walk if you get off at the Rijksmuseum stop. Have had a wonderful experience!
Great location, excellent staff, skip the breakfast buffet, not a good value.
Disappointed with this supposedly 4 star hotel. It was very dated and absolutely the worst bathroom ever.
The ceiling left me with a inch of clearance, I'm 6'3". Then out of the ceiling hangs a dated shower head that hangs down 3 inches, about eye level. The adjustable shower head on the wall is chin high. Shower did not have any shelves for soap or shampoo. The drain is built into the corner where the curtain falls and clogs the drain.
Do better...
Cons: odd toilet, poor water pressure in showers, poor Wi-Fi. Pros: great location, close to all the museums, the staff was very nice, the size of the room was above average, the neighborhood was quiet at night.
Cute boutique hotel right in the museum district. Easy access to downtown via trams or an easy walk. Good breakfast spread with cold meats, cheeses and some hot food selections
No dresser in my room. Quite non-functional. I have to stack my clothes on the table and on a chair. Nice staff. Don't pay for the continental breakfast at around $20 euro per person. It's mostly bread. It's not worth $5 for the meal. Seek out the local backery for yummy heated croissants for under $3.
The hotel was in a good location, walking distance to the central area. The staff were really nice and very helpful. The room was quite small, but still modern looking. The biggest issue was the lack of proper elevators to the hotel room. We took the elevator to our floor, however we still had to climb two sets of stairs to get to our room. This was quite difficult with luggage.
