I have been calling the ViaVia in Leon my home for almost a week now. It is a great place with lots of space for its guests to relax (2 gardens, lots of hammocks, couches etc) and to soak up the Nicaraguan vibe (the bar, which serves good food and drinks by the way, is a meeting place for travellers and locals alike). The staff is friendly and helpful and the new floor manager Dirk is working hard to make the place even better. Warmly recommended!

Only been here as a guest of the bar and restaurant. Good food for decent prices and great atmosphere both at nighttime and during the day. They have quiznights and salsanights which are usually packed with people, and really fun. Only complaint is that there is always the same people by the pooltable everyday that are not to keen on letting others play. Maybe they should have a system so that others can play too?

Best hostel in town!
The staff are really helpful and kind.
Doña Telly is our favourite. Our kids love her.
Nice rooms and beautiful garden with turtles.
Just one problem: It's always full, so you have to book in advance.

Great lively hostel in the centre of Leon.
Once a week a charity Trivia with nice prices to win and live music.
Good food and nice spacious room. Friendly and helpful staff.
Also prices are more than fare.

Nice hostel and bar. Breakfast is very good. The dorms are quiet and comfortable. Lots of place to sit around and relax.

Beautiful hostel with great location within walking distance of major tourist attractions. Easy access to tours through (an amazing) company, great bar, free breakfast and friendly staff members. Would highly recommend!

Quiet and quaint hotel/hostel in the back with a nice garden and hammocks. Everything kept very clean and the rooms are very affordable. No AC but fans above every bed and netting if you are concerned about bugs (we didn’t need this). Awesome people staying here and all looking to enjoy a new culture and beauty of Nicaragua. Fun bar with cheap drinks in the front and they also partner with Volcano Day Tours for really fun ways to explore! Highly recommend!

The restaurant here is wonderful! They offer a delicious selection of classic Nica dishes at reasonable prices. The staff are attentive and accommodating.

I haven't stayed here, but it's pretty fun as a bar. Service can suck if you don't speak Spanish well, but that's no different from anywhere in Leon. They have live music on Fridays, and sometimes people dance, so that's cool. It's loud but fun. Closes at midnight on weekdays- a good weekday spot, if you like it quiet- and they'll try to kick you out early. Also, taxis, don't really hang out around there (at night, at least), so be prepared to walk a bit.

The bar manager is terrible. Order drinks and they do not have the ingredients to make them.He said he doesn't care about drinks for americans. I went to the grocery store and bought the mixes qnd then he said we were trouble makers.

I did not stay here, but frequented it while in Leon for drinks and atmosphere. I enjoyed the outdoor seating area and the general vibe. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner in a brief interaction and he was considerate and cordial.

Nice busy front restaurant/bar area with quiet space in the back where the rooms are. Plenty of seating and nice hammocks. Mix of locals and tourists. Great spot to stay or just chill/eat/drink.

Very friendly staff, Nice bar with good music and good food. Some beds may be better and bathroom little bit cleaner. Price vs Quality: 4/5! I recommend.
