Loved it! This is by far one of the best backpackers hostel I have met in León. For U$8 you can stay for a night at a dorm and have access to their pool. Or for U$25 with your loved one at a private room.

Facilities are good and clean, friendly staff. Its just way overpriced! We paid 11 dollars in a 12 bed dorm which only has 1 electric socket. They gave us the worst exchange rate in nicaragua. They have hidden charges on transactions. You can EASILY find private rooms for 18 USD including breakfast in Leon.
Sad to see the owners drive up the price due to good ratings.

Good budget hostels. People were cleaning everything the whole time we were here. Would come back here. Also offers a cheap and good breakfast and the pool area is awesome for the heat of Leon.

Pretty Bad! 11$ for a 12 Person dormunfriendly staff and no kitchen. You have to pay for breakfast and even filtered water.

Old colonial building with a swimming pool in the rear. Lovely courtyard ambiance and a great meeting place to meet fellow travellers. Front desk staff are most professional and helpful as well.

We had a really bad experience in this hostel. The pool was nice and the rooms were OK (though not very clean). We trusted the staff at the hostel to help us schedule our daily tours and eventually to book travel to El Salvador. The ride to San Salvador is 8 hours and the hostel staff showed us a brochure to book a bus to get there safely. The brochure showed a greyhound-style bus, the type used for chartered tours. We paid $30 USD to the hostel staff for the tickets (we had also read that was the appropriate rate for that trip). The next day, we went to where the hostel staff told us to meet the bus and, instead of a charter-style bus, a chicken bus (a beat-up, old converted school bus) showed up. By that time we didn't have any choice left, as we had to get to our next destination on time. The trip was horrible, we were squeezed for bribes by both the driver, his mate, and the officials at border crossings, our bus and all of our belongings were searched by drug dogs as we crossed the border into El Salvador during the night, and ultimately the bus broke down and we had to hail a ride from the road. I wish I could review this hostel on the ambiance of the pool and common area, but instead I am so livid about the experience with their travel booking service that I can only offer 1 star.

Very nice hostel, staff are friendly and helpful. The single room I got is great, its large and has plenty of shelves. The best part is that it's nice and quiet!

Not a party hostel but a good place in Leon to relax. Setup is beautiful and the pool is nice. 2p Private rooms were good and the employees are very friendly.

Stayed here last year and will again this year but loses a star because we did have mice chew through our bags. Nice pool, pool table, internet access and good for large groups (which is why we are going back).

I stayed for a night passing through Leon and this was a good choice. The location was central, my room was huge and clean although fairly basic, the staff were friendly and helpful. I'd certainly stay again.

Great hostle in León. The room sizes are huge and have a lot of people in one space in bunk beds. It was fine for my trip because we took the entire room, but if you're going by yourself expect others to be there. Breakfast options were very good, but slightly slow service. Wifi wasn't the greatest but got the job done. Great hangout spaces in the courtyards, and down the street from a killer cuban restaurant.

Perfect place for backpackers and local travelers. Friendly staff and ample facilities. Not as popular as other hostels but well worth the stay. Near main plaza and great restautants.
