  Soma Surf Resort was Spotless. Luxury without being pretentious! Excellent owners, excellent service. Meals come in superquick, and everybody is very oriented to customer satisfaction! It is probably the best place I have been in all of my travels! Not just recommended but mandatory. Cheers to Cassey and Bill! Outstanding

  If you are looking a surf retreat, look no further! You will find everything you need at Soma Surf Resort…Great people, amazing food and the most endearing pets. The surf instructors are amazing, they will make sure you catch that wave, even if they have to give you that last push you so desperately need.

  Cons: if you're there to surf, they will drop you off once a day at the most crowded break (popoyo) no matter the tide or conditions and they might or might not pick you back up. One evening I actually had to walk 15 min in the dark to find a bar that was gracious enough to call them to come and get me since they did not show up at the agreed upon time.
  
  Aggro manager.
  
  Pros: beautiful resort. Great food. Great for surf beginners who don't mind getting lessons at spots that are small and manageable. (which is what you want)

  After many trips to Nicaragua, we found the jackpot!
  
  Look no further…Soma is the only Boutique Surf Resort to stay at.
  
  Greeted with a friendly smile and a cold towel upon arrival, we knew we had made it to paradise in Nicaragua. Soma Surf Resort is stunning, lazing on the sun loungers by the infinity pool, gazing out over the blooming gardens into the Tola countryside, Soma has taken the boutique resort standard to another level. We stayed in a private bungalow, saying it is huge is an understatement, high ceilings, the well needed quiet air-conditioning, the extremely comfortable beds and the locally crafted timber used throughout the bungalow are stunning. The double sinks and very large sandstone shower make the bungalow feel bigger than most condos. The house keeping is impeccable. Casey and Bill (owners and Managers) have designed and styled Soma with a refined eye and quality décor.
  
  Now the restaurant… WOW… Soma kitchen will blow you away, fresh local cuisine with an international flare, every meal was delicious and the staffs are well versed in a high standard of service.
  
  Bill and the guides took us surfing each day to gentle (beginner and intermediate) surf breaks only minutes away. The water was delightfully warm. Bill is an excellent instructor and had us standing up on the first day! We were so impressed and so much positivity was flowing through the air as we caught each wave! We could also see the world famous break of Popoyo outer reef; those waves are for the experts. Oneday…
  
  The private setting and small number of guests means the staff could offer very attentive service and will greet you personally. We contacted Casey when booking, it was very easy and arranged our transfers. Casey is very attentive and made sure our stay was the most memorable vacation we have had.
  
  We were so impressed with the high standard of accommodation, the resort and its beautiful grounds and the standard of service which exceeds most of the 5star hotels in the USA.
  
  Upon departure Casey mentioned in February and March they will be doing a Farm-to-Table Culinary & Surf week with an internationally regarded Super Yacht Chef. We will be defiantly coming back for that!

  Amazing, amazing, amazing! Soma Surf Resort is 5 stars. The resort is peaceful, beautifully crafted and has amazing food. The owners and their staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Soma provides expert surf instruction and the Nicaraguan coast is some of the world's best waves
