Pili is a standout woman who has created an amazing restaurant with the best quality, nourishing and yummy food. She puts in so much love and energy in everything she does. We spent 7 days in Hacienda Iguana and frequented her restaurant breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were never disappointed. Everything fresh, organic, home grown veges, quality meats and freshly caught fish.
The bruschetta, carpaccio, breakfast burrito, pancakes, Gallo Pinto, desserts, unbelievable. We can’t say enough good things about Pili and her restaurant.response / report this review -

Does not get any better for a young family and a Dad who thinks he’s a surfer. Pool, playground, gigantic pristine beach, food, drinks. Like any “club” you just have to know the right people or stay at the right resort nearby (or in the Iguana Community). We got lucky and stayed at a nearby resort that has a relationship with Pili. They are understandably protective of their gem and are tight about opening the doors.

It was an incredibly convoluted experience trying to reserve a seating at Pili's. Despite talking with the owners on the phone several times, as well as negotiating entry into the gated Hacienda Iguana community, we were told that we could not dine as Pili feared we would bring in surfers. We missed out on what looks to be delicious food from pictures; however, considering the many amazing food offerings in this country, I'm more happy to support other local restaurants as opposed to this more oppressive, expatriate-golfer, and esoteric establishment. I'm sure the bourgeoisie will enjoy, as I have more than a touch of "sour grapes," and no longer care to!

Exclusive to guests at Hacienda Iguana - it should be very clear that this restaurant is intended ONLY for Iguana guests. After reading amazing reviews, we drove from Grenada for fish tacos on the beach. Unfortunately, we were told that we could not enter to eat, we could come back in 3 hours for dinner. Perhaps they were worried that we'd mar their perfect beach view?

Incredibly delicious! Everything was absolutely delicious and generous portions! Highly, highly recommend. Especially after a long day of surf and volleyball.

This place is beyond fabulous and if you don't try it you are totally missing out. The food is to die for and the vibe is amazing. I dream about coming here the 11 months of the year I'm not here to enjoy it.

Pili has been able to create a mediterranean kitchen corner in Nicaragua, every single ingredient is fresh and meals are made with such lovely care.
