  A great discovery in our quest to find cheaper local food on the island. Their view is also hard to beat as they are right on the edge of the beach where you can see a good stretch of the Santo Domingo beach and some small islands nearby. It's also open air so there'll be a brisk gale and you'd almost feel the waves lapping on the beach as they are really close to shore. The food we tried was local and were nothing special but was one of the cheaper options here. They also have free Wi-Fi.

  Compared to the other good options in the area including comedor Julia right next door, this place was terrible. Avoid the curry (just curry powder) and the garlic chicken if you still decide to go here.

  We did a detour to the restaurant due to the great reviews. Do not let the space fools you. The food was the best we ate on the island. The fish was phenomenal. Good to share for 2. Highly recommended.

  Great place with very friendly staff.
  
  We been here several times for dinner because it was on of the last opened restaurants in the area. But even without that “bonus” we would have stopped here more than once.
  
  The food was very tasty and a lot (try the fresh fish) and for what you get it was not expensive at all.
  
  In the evening it’s very windy outside so we always had to switch inside. Nice music was playing all the time.
  
  You shouldn’t miss that place when you’re in SantoDomingo

  Best food in town!
  Visited here loads when we were on the island, food was excellent and great service. The family who own the place are lovely and very welcoming. Would highly recommend.
