Definitely go there!
Entry is c$ 154 for foreigners ($5).

Refreshing turquoise water. Good for swimming. There’s even a Tarzan swing if you dare.

You can order food and drinks to your pool chair. A bit pricey but quite good and convenient.

It’s a good place to escape a hot day.

Clean and well maintained, though it was incredibly crowded while we were there. The water temperature is nice, and there are rope swings and slack lines for the more adventurous. Food and drinks available on site.

Family friendly spot, makes for a great afternoon of swimming. Local arts and crafts also for sale.

Cool place to relax in after a long day of traveling. The water temperature is excellent and the place itself is very clean and organized. They also have food and drinks that are very reasonably priced and are pretty good.

After hiking the volcano, this is the best possible thing to do. Amazingly clean, warm water Really good food and drinks and surprisingly cheap considering it's a totally captive clientele.

Lots of locals. More like a big swimming pool. Expect this and you will be happy. Fine just to hang out and do nothing.

This is one of the best places to visit on Ometepe! As a tourist, it costs $5 per person to enter. The area is gorgeous and the water is so clean and perfectly refreshing. There is a rope swing you can use as well as a coconut vendor who sells them for $1 each or $3 with rum in them. He'll even crack open your coconut when you're done with it so you can eat the coconut meat inside!

Loved, loved, loved this place. Not sure if did actually make me younger, but I enjoyed my time there nonetheless. We had lunch at the cafe as well, and it was great and inexpensive! Must do while on the island.

Lounge, soak, cool off and repeat. It was quiet when we were here, however you can see that it is busy in peak season. Great place to escape great. Poolside drink service. Tree swing and slack line. Tiered seating in water. Pools are cool and fed from underground. Neat experience.

Great place to relax the day after you hike one of the volcanos. Get yourself some rum in a coconut for 90 cords then float around in the mineral pools to help heal up your body. Got a little left in your legs? Try to walk across the slack line spanning the pools, completing it gets you a free rum coconut, or bust a move off the rope swing. Food at the restaurant is expensive for the area, portions and quality are poor.

Very pretty and the water is cool and clean. They also have seating and make coco locos from fresh coconuts (open a coconut, pour rum in it, throw a straw in there). Great for casual swimming or lounging to cool off. They also some short nature trails to walk on. Overall not to be missed if you're in Omatepe!

Great place for hangout if you can afford it. Very popular with clean, refreshing water. Only downside is the number of people there with you.

Nice swimming location with a natural spring that is turned into pool. There is a diving board and multi layered spots were sitting or standing in the water. Include restaurants and small shops and a decent hiking trail. Admission is $3.00 dollars for non-Nicaraguans. Peak times are weekends and mid-day to get decent sitting area or tables, have to arrive early or near closing. Restaurant had pricey (by local standards) menu selection but good quality and presentation. Small hiking trail is about 1.75 Km loop as an added distraction.

I really liked it here, a nice cool pool surrounded by jungle to escape the mid-day heat. The water seemed clean, there were monkeys playing in the trees overhead and there is a rope swing and a tightrope that you can use. There are tables and chairs and lots of people were just lazing around reading or enjoying a Coco Loco. We visited in the week and there were 20-30 people there which seemed a good number, I understand at the weekend it can be a bit overrun. We took the bus there from Moyogalpa, which was very easy. We had to walk about 2.5k from the bus to the pool, however it was a pleasant and easy walk, I understand you may be able to get a second bus a bit closer if needs be however.

Beautiful place to stop by and take a dip if you're in the area, however, the pools don't feel as natural as I would have liked. The water is crystal clear though and worth a quick visit!

A fantastic swimming hole for locals and tourists. There is a short trail to enjoy and we saw monkeys in the trees above the pool. Don't expect to have the place to yourself, as there are plenty of gringos drinking out of coconuts.

Beautiful location, but for the love of sweet little baby Jesus don't get the quesadillas. I'm pretty sure it was a waterlogged hot pocket filled with cottage cheese.

Stunning swimming pool of natural water with a rope swing, coco locos made fresh by the water, food available. Attracting a tourist scene but definitely doesn't feel crazy commercial quite yet. Good vibes and a welcome oasis in the middle of two volcanoes. Have fun and swing swing Tarzan!
