We recently stayed at Montebrisa and did not want to leave. If you need to stay in Matagalpa, look no further. The place is an oasis in the middle of the city, the gardens are amazing, the rooms all of them beautiful and have everything you might need while staying there. The staff were a delight and helped in any way they could regardless what time of day or night it was. We had an amazing breakfast each morning included in the room cost and no matter what time we could have tea and coffee made for us. The owner called when we arrived to welcome us and when we left to say goodbye, a truly nice touch. When we return to Matagalpa we will certainly be booking in to the Montebrisa.

Huge imposing walls outside don't give forth to a luxurious inside. You can get a better bang for your buck elsewhere in town, but it does't have a cute garden.

Montebrisa is so beautiful. A retreat within the city. We loved the tranquil setting that Rita has created .The gardens are exquisite. So many flowers, plants, and trees. We so enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend it to others traveling to Matgalpa.

Bellísimo! My stay at MonteBrisa was amazing, the grounds are breathtakingly lovely, the staff goes the extra mile to make sure your stay is exquisite, the history of the place is fascinating, and the smell of coffee roasting that characterizes the region of Matagalpa, coupled with the song of a thousand birds, made this an unforgettable retreat and one I can't wait to return to!
