The best accommodation in Playa Gigante. Really good food, a nice pool and lounge chairs and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

This is an excellent hotel. The best in Gigante Beach by far. Great ownership leads to a great staff. You will not be disappointed to stay here!! Highly recommended.

Beautiful place, the attention from staff was excellent. The room (#9) was cozy and the shower area was pretty big. The neighborhood is being developed and it is up and coming. The beach is a 1 minute walk from the beach. Some cons are there is no available iron and towels were not replaced and the hammock was not up. Breakfast is free and tasty. However, lunch and dinner was expensive but still tasty.

Super recomended to eat and stay here. I think its the nicest place in Gigante I have been so far and the only one you can have breakfast before 8 am. The rest only open at 8 am. Food and service is super good. :)

Great hotel. Room was clean, comfortable and modern- hot water, A/C, etc.(after years of staying in hovels and sleeping outside when I was younger and traveling I'm ok with convenience now that I'm older). Beach is across the street and, IMO, it's beautiful with a fantastic view. Staff at hotel are friendly and helpful. If you try a little Spanish with the kids working in the bar they're curious about you. The pool is a nice change at times from the ocean as it can have powerful swells. Overall, I love Gigante but don't expect much of a party place. Quite sleepy and relaxed. If you're coming to surf waves at Playa Amarillo are not really for beginners.

We had breakfast here & it was amazing traditional Nicaraguan cuisine. Their kitchen is extremely clean and open to view through the glass enclosure.

Great spot, nice room and the food actually tastes good. The nearest beach is a not the best, but you can walk a few blocks and problem solved.

We arrived for a special event on New Years Day, a pool party with a DJ. We'd invited friends to meet us there.
Firstly our friends that led us the staff increased the price of their drinks on the second order. Then we went to order. My man stood and waited for the bartender for 15 minutes, while there were no other customers and the bartender just stood around. When he finally was able to order the bartender did not actually k ow what a margarita was. Another 5 minutes went by and we asked if he might be able to make our drink and he told us the blender as busy, but no one was using it.
When finally a drink was make, it was not a margarita. It was a green nasty chemical I top of ice cubes with zero alcohol.
I'm sorry my partner is not bilingual, but that is no excuse for a bard enter being rude rolling his eyes and walking away. This guy charged us over $17 US for the worst drink ever.
I've been to this area 4 times and this is the worst rudest service received ever.
Yes we spoke with the manager lady but she honestly could not care less about the guests too. Super disappointing. Playa Gigante is a lovely place with fabulous hosts, but Machelles place was an awful experience and who ever owns this place has got to get their staff in line. The behaviour of staff at this place is shameful.response / report this review -

Great food and friendly staff. Wait time for the food was dragged on despite having very few guests during our visit. The pool needs to be cleaned very regularly as it was already looking an icky dark green. Rooms are modern and chic and ambiance is laid back. Price is higher than most neighboring hotels.

Acomodations are great. Staff is extremely friendly. Well priced. Right across the street from the beach. I gave it 4 stars because I did not have the opportunity to stay longer than 1 night.
