Everything is a little bit old. Beds were crammed into small rooms.

This hotel is owned by a lovely couple, Carlos and Anna. As you walk in the door and are greeted like a family member the trials and tribulations of travelling are soon forgotten. Carlos comes from a family of artists and is an artist himself besides being an avid collector of Nicaraguan art and sculpture. Many of his fathers works, his own, and many of his collections , fill the walls of the rooms and hallways and adorn tables and cabinets.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable, furnished with carved Nicaraguan furniture. Breakfast is very tasty local fare and Anna can cook a lovely corvina for lunch or dinner if requested. The staff are competent and friendly and eager to please. If you are lucky you will get to meet Fernanda their daughter who is a student at the university but helps out at the front desk.
If you want to know anything about what to do in Managua or the names of some great restaurants you only have to ask your hosts
We highly recommend this hotel whether you are staying in Managua or are there as a stopping point to other parts of the country.

Spacious,, good area, colonial setting with an urban touch. Semi close to Centrro, Plaza Revolution, Hugo Chavez Rotunda and Malecón area if your a walker. If not plenty taxis for the faint at heart.

La Posada del Archangel is a beautiful boutique hotel in the Bologna area of Managua. Nearby are the major government buildings, Olympic sports complex, various embassies, and restaurants. The hotel is filled to the brim with artwork on display including ancient pre-colombian artifacts and paintings by the renowned Nicaraguan Master, Raúl Marín. The rooms are clean and comfortable with strong air conditioning. The restaurant serves an assortment of local dishes with fresh fish available daily. The proprietor, Carlos, is a fantastic host and will ensure you are well taken care of. If you need a restaurant recommendation, Carlos is the leading authority and won't steer you wrong. This hotel is a treasure!

Beautiful place with beautiful people. Ana Maria and Carlos are amazing. They were very eager in helping us finding our next place to stay in Granada. They even negotiated a better price for us. The place is very cute, the breakfast is good and the hotel is an art gallery of amazing artwork. Ask Carlos about his paintings. He will tell you all about their history. And ask Ana Maria about her hand made furniture. The room was very spacious and clean. Good air con and hot water

Very good customer service, very detailed and personal service. Delicious food, wonderful breakfast. Very good art decorations (which by the way you can buy) good central location. Personal by the owner, he is very involved. Quality of the rooms is AWESOME! THEY ARE CLEAN..WIFI AVAILABLE, SMART TVS GOOD SECURE PARKING FOR YOUR CAR.
