Owner was never nice, lots of ants on the floor and on the beds, water smelled so bad i could not shower, let alone brush my teeth. I believe it was the owner/ family that broke into my room and stole items from me. Not a friendly vibe.

Came here for four days. Stayed three weeks. Gino the owner is very nice. Speaks English and is very accommodating. Great location just off the beach and next to a few fun bars and mini market. I WILL stay there again.

Es pequeño el hostal pero bueno, tiene cuartos con aire acondicionado y con abanico. Puedes llevar tu comida y cocinar ahi. Es seguro y limpio. Cuenta con wifi y esta a media cuadra del mar.

The owner and operator Gino is amazing. Always on top of any issues that come up. The place is extremely clean, and cheap, with good Wi-Fi reception throughout. There is a roof that can be used as a hangout spot. A large kitchen, nice fridge, and coffee in the morning. Close to the beach, convince stores, bars, ATM, pharmacy. Also, this place has batteries to keep power on even when the town is out of power (5 hours worth). Stayed for 9 days and absolutely fell in love.
