Clean hotel right on main beach drag. Roof top has nice Bay view. It was quiet and safe at night for they have a locked gate with an overnight security guard. Front desk staff Alicia was very nice, gave us coupons to restaurants, connect tour for tortoise tour, where to catch rides for beach hopping, even told us which Chocolate shop was better (Chocolate Museum was more of a sale spot)

This place is awesome. I was sceptical of the price @ $29 from maps. It was totally worth it. Nice, clean room with a/c, TV, WiFi and hot showers. Across the street from the beach.
The staff was incredibly helpful.
24 hour free coffee on the cafe.
Restaurants and bars galore within 1, 2 and 3 blocks. Right in the middle of everything.

After complaining for 2 days about now having running water in the room we decided to leave. Even though we didn't stayed the night the owner still wanted for us to pay full price! When I refused saying that wasn't fair she called the cops on me. Beware! Owner not cooperating with paying customers. All I wanted is a flushing toilet and water to shower!

I very much enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were very clean and I loved that I didn't have to sleep on a bunk bed in the shard dorm. Every dollar was worth it!

Price: good for San Juan del sur
Breakfast is Not included, but i would recommend you to eat on the opposite site of the Street anyway. If u are too stupid to use the water heater dont blame others ;) there is a instruction in the shower and it works fine.

What a nice hotel. We are there right now, and the do everything for you. Buy things you need in your appartement if you missed them. There was a hurricane and a tsunami warning on the same day, but the pick you up of your walk with you to the highest point and wait with you to go back. There was no other hotel doing that, that i saw on the mountain. So great hotel great people. And Yes Not always hot water but come on you are in Nica! You have to by lucky you ll have electricity.

If you plan to spend $250 a night and expect to have running water, this place is not for you. This was the worse hotel experience I have ever had!!!

When we checked in they said the credit card machine was not working, looking back now they did this so we could not go to the CC company to get our money back.

After an hour that we were their we noticed the water was not working and we asked for our money back. The owner told us it was our fault not to ask before we checked in to see if there was water. Are you kidding me? It was MY fault to expect water so we could shower?

The owner is a complete moron!!! To find out later if the they did have water, it would only be cold. For $250 a night you should expect 1) water 2) warm water 3) soap and shampoo in the bathrooms (oh yeah, no water so why would you need these?)

If you have a choice to sleep on the beach or to sleep in this dive, I recommend the beach.
