I wasn't expecting a Hilton, and I didn't get one either. In the bathroom, there was makeup and toothpaste on the mirror and walls. There was a clump of long hair in both the sink drain and the shower drain.
Twice the maid just unlocked the door and came in, which was not 'convenient' either time.
Don't expect to get much sleep here. I thought being a bit out of the center of town would be quieter, but no such luck. Room #5, at the top of the stairs, gets all noise of people coming and going all evening, and those talking late into the night outside on the little patio area.The roosters all around start crowing about 4:00 am. All the neighborhood dogs start barking about 5:00, and delivery truck rumble by. At 7:00 am, the city warning siren goes off, and it seems to be quite near.
Of the many choices in Leon, I will not pick this one again.

Excellent hotel with best price/offer ratio in Leon. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful which has made my several stays there very pleasant. I can recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a good quality in 100% Nicaraguan owned hotel.
