Our family of 5 spent 3 days on the Island of Ometepe in Nicaragua. We had the pleasure to spend our nights at July's (pronounced Julie's) Grill and Steakhouse. The manager, Julio Caesar is not only a damn good chef, he was also a great concierge. He organized a tour for us across the whole island. He also organized a horseback trip for us the next day! The vibe is very "tranquilo" at July's. No one will ever come bother you about anything. But the staff is quick to assist. If we ever go back to Paradise AKA Ometepe Island, we will definently stay at July's. The food is "Forget About It!" delicious . I can't say enough how I love Ometepe and Julio Caesar, our helpful, humble, host!

Great place for a $5 steak! Usually quiet and also a hostel. Close to downtown but just off the beaten path!
