Great hotel , terrible terrible staff , I tried to order room service they ran out of gas so they couldn't cook. I ordered food from outside they refused to give me plates because the food was not from them. Had to get into a shouting session before it was eventually rectified.

On September 2, 2016 @ approximately 10pm my fiancé and I checked into Tudor House Hotel for the first time. After a long travel from Abuja we desperately needed rest. At about 12am midnight we could hear loud voices coming from the hall way. Giggling, banging of doors and stomping of feet. One of this Noise makers even had the nerve to come bang on our door yelling "Tosin, Tosin, Tosin". My fiancé and I had to yell back stating "there's no Tosin here!". We called the receptionist thereafter to keep these rowdy guests in check and she promised to fix this issue. However the noise went on till around 2am.

Next day September 3, 2016 we had to travel to Badagry and meant to return same day. Unfortunately, we had some unforeseen delays and couldn't make it back to the hotel that night, eventhough that night was fully paid for. The next day September 4th (our checkout day) I called the hotel (012778758/012778759) starting at 10am for the next 3 hours the phone kept ringing but no one picked up the phone. Finally at about 1pm I was able to reach a receptionist. I complained that I had been calling for the past 4 hours and her first reply was that they didn't receive the call. I went on to explain to her that we were on our way back to the hotel from Badagry, with a possibility of arriving late due to the bad traffic and road condition on that route. Just so she understood I told her we had had a difficult road trip due to unforeseen issues and that we couldn't even make it back to the hotel as scheduled the previous night. She acknowledged that she was told by the night staff that we didn't return to the hotel the night before but rudely told my fiancé that due to the time of our call (after 12pm) we would have to pay for an additional day. She was nonchalant to our ordeal and was rude on the phone even after my fiancé explained to her that we had been calling since 10am. Finally she stated that they would have to take our belongings out of the room if we will not be paying for an additional day.

To cut the long story short. we got to the hotel at around 3pm to find out she kept her promise. Our belongings had been packed out. My intimates, our toiletries, jewelries, shoes, clothes, etc were PACKED OUT. by only God knows who! The funniest thing was that the room was unoccupied. It would have been a different issue if they had potential guests who needed to take over the room,. If there was no incoming guest why kick us out? Is this what Tudor House does to their customers?

We felt embarrassed, insulted and disrespected. I WILL NEVER EVER STEP MY FEET INTO Tudor House Hotel in Lekki Phase 1 or recommend it to any of my friends. Another case of horrible customer service most Nigerian businesses are known for all over the world.
