Best thing going for this hotel is its location and proximity to the beach. Amenities and customer service can be better. Furniture around the reception/lounge area looked dated and in need of an upgrade.

Food was not cooked properly, it was served after 1.30pm when we got there, waited for the 2nd course that took another 1hr, it was just a waiting game seriously, and 2 people out of 8, were the first to be served thier meals, even though we all had similar orders, well after those 2, the rest of the 6 had to wait for another 1hr thereabout to get their own foods, they were served freshly made foods, cause the rice was different and it was basmati rice not the long grain served earlier, to get water to drink was war, the starter bread was also stale and the deserts the fruits were not fresh also, it was a total disaster, to cap it all i woke up with diahhrea, cos of the state of the food, the staff are so unfriendly and unhelpful, like they are been forced to serve, well never again

Worked with them for a Christmas party and the service was terrible. My staff and I had to do the moving of THEIR furniture because the hotel did not allocate enough staff for my 50 guests. Imagine have 50 guests and having only one staff be on ground to assist with service.. terrible to say the least.
At the end of the event, they didn't send the bill, no thank you message. I had to physically go to the hotel to ask for the bill after two weeks of waiting. When they finally presented the bill, they had overcharged me by close to 300k. The very rude and unhelpful FC was unable to pinoint where the issue stemmed from. I then asked to speak with someone in charge (The ED Mrs Aribisala) but management was also unable to help!
This is not a Marriott chain hotel- if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel that won't cheat you or provide bad service, there are many more out there- try TripAdvisor!response / report this review -

So glad I checked it out before I booked my international partners into this hotel. It would have been an embarrassment. Never heard of a Marriott Platinum Elite member being downgraded from class of room booked Staff unhelpful, behave like they are doing you a favor. Sheets dreadfully old and dirty. Rooms without appropriate amenities. System down, they can't generate a room key so staff has to let occupants into rooms whenever you step out of their rooms. Breakfast buffet. pathetic. Never again!

Let me start off by saying that I am crying as i write this because i am no longer at this property. Protea Kuramo waters made my stay in Nigeria absolutely amazing. Before arriving at the hotel we call the front desk for directions and Abiola not only gave us great directions but when we finally arrived we were greeted with a smile and our special requests were met. The rooms were perfectly cleaned through out my entire stay and didn't have any problem with water heater Air Conditioner and even Electricity. We were at this property for 13 nights the pool was always cleaned and well staff and great music on thursday and fridays. The kitchen price were pricey but the food was definitely worth it. The Staff were definitely my favorite part of the hotel i felt as if i was home. ABIOLA, LEKAN. TEMILADE, TAIWO, FUMMI AND STELLA FROM THE FRONT DESK AND JOHNNNN (HES AMAZING) AND ALEX FROM HOUSEKEEPING. I MISS THEM SO MUCH AND I WILL DEFINITELY STAY HERE A MILLION TIMES.
