It looks like a heritage buildings from outside but interiors are impressive. Good place to chose for lunch/dinner. Indian, Thai and continental dishes are available. Be at pool side or inside the restaurant you will feel comfortable until unless you are too demanding. Indian chef seems bit arrogant as he never comes out to assist you to find right menue or spacial dishes.
Other staff are good and cooperative.
On an average good place stay and dine if you are on short trip to Lagos. Not ideal for tourist with familes.response / report this review -

La Veranda restaurant!!! Food was great! The staff are polite and knowledgeable aboutbthier food. Ambience is great and clientele awesome
Only reason i didn't give 5 stars was because of the need to pay with multiple POS for different things. Apparently cocktails and the food are from different restaurants

The Purple Restaurant What?!?! Nothing but the hotel's dining room. Breakfast buffet was poor, would go somewhere else for breakfast even if I stayed at the hotel. Very limited options. Not well organized. Only bright spot was the waiter who tried to make it seem better than it was. Enthusiastic and helpful but.nah, never again.

I had dinner at the restaurant there, it’s called Purple.
The parking space isn’t a lot, so if it’s busy you may find it difficult to park.
Nice ambiance and good service.
The drink orders came out in good time. The food was amazing, loved it. I would totally recommend it, especially if you want to try out Indian or Thai food.response / report this review -

I had the worst experience ever. I booked my room 4-days earlier and reservation was confirmed via e-mail. However on arrival at the hotel,they didn't seem ready for me and I was told to wait for my room to be fixed. Let's just say I waited over an hour, I was not even offered a glass of water for someone that had just made a long trip. Needless to say I would never recommend the hotel to anybody. Even while leaving, no efforts were made to apologize. Absolutely unbelievable for a service
provider.
So after my experience on 25/09/2017, the management of this hotel took measures that are most commendable to erase my bad experience and I must say I was duly impressed. It shows that they do value their customers and would go any length to keep them. So this is me saying thank you to the Blowfish for turning a bad experience to a most memorable one. And I must confess that the meals at the Purple restaurant is exquisite. I will definitely be coming back here in the future. Thank you Martina.response / report this review -

The restaurants menu is largely Indian and Thai so I was really skeptical to try out food that I'd never had before, however the chef must have done some magic because I really couldn't stop eating. Super tasty meal.
There's also a perfect outdoor setting for an evening out, however you might need to wear protective clothing, mosquitoes kept biting my feet (might have been because I was close to some trees).response / report this review -

Its a cool place to be and well affordable in the very heart of Victoria Island. They have standard swimming pool and pool bar with both local and intercontinental menu.

I have visited the "Purple" restaurant in The Blowfish Hotel. It has a big variety of different kinds of meals and the service is good. The place is relaxing and the food is good.

I really enjoyed n the way they welcome me most especially at the gate, & there food there was so delicious even there Swimming pool,,infact they ar good, dis much I can say about the Hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel as I was welcomed warmly at the gate and was escorted to the parking lot by the security to ensure my car was well parked. On getting into the hotel, I was received by a very caring reception. The room was very convenient and spacious. I had great meals and not so expensive, it was very garnished.

Top of the line food and bar. One of the best breakfast buffets I've seen. Dingy room, though everything was working and in good order. Towels were clean but not extra white, old frayed runner on bed, small hole in curtain - outdated furniture.
