Shagalinku is a traditional restaurant where you can find Hausa cuisines that are sumptuous, delicious and affordable. A trial is sure to convince you.

The meal I had there was nice. Sadly it wasn't spicy but it was still a nice meal.

A great place for traditional northern Nigerian cuisines. Clean, well organized with ample parking space. Reasonable prices too.

Food is above average but the environment could improved upon. Though it's got this bukateria atmosphere.

Really tasty meal (big enough to fill up the belly) in a well spaced sitting arrangement. Good for families and business associates to eat out. There's also a VIP section for more convenience

Most of the time when I'm in Abuja, and I had to eat out, I dine at Shagalingu. Traditional dishes and modern as well.
Their dishes are great. I will recommend Shagalinku to anyone interested in Northern Nigeria dishes especially.

I understand this restaurant has been around since the late 70s. I loved the food. It comes with a local feel and taste and it's absolutely delicious. The jollof rice and beans I ate was quite delicious, it comes with sweet potatoes. They also serve tuwo cinkafa and peppersoup. The attendants are quick to serve (average 5 mins). Love the place.

Service is quick and the food is okay, though tailored to meet traditional Hausa society needs. No security nor enough parking area. There is probably a language problem, for non-Hausa speaking customers.
