A place to recall the history of calabar. You can not take pictures here, it is against the rule. Hence, it's free for Corps members on uniform. Cheers !

Lots of history is hidden here, and it appears that the keepers don't understand the value of what they are keeping. All the same, it's a place to visit if you find yourself in Calabar.

A historic place that tells the story of Nigeria through a good collection of artifacts.

My visit to the museum was in the month of August 2015. I learnt a lot about the history of slave trade in Nigeria, as well as the early exported goods from Calabar sea port. The historic and archaeological artifacts are well preserved for future generations to learn about our pass.
