A building like tower.. Where the ikoro is kept. Pictures of olden traditioners are also hung inside the building

The shrine is Chileke Orieukwu is one of those rare phenomena in African traditional religion in that it is a shrine of the supreme being, God instead of the that of the small gods that are usually the case. It is located at Orieukwu Oboama na Umunama in Ezinihitte Mbaise, NIGERIA. According to religious mythology the world was created here. Adherents come from places far afield to perform the rites and rituals of this shrine.
Till today people do not take dead people through Chileke Orieukwu shrine because it was the place of creation.
Excavations around the Ihu Chileke Orieukwu shrine showed evidence of a very dense ancient settlement. The site is unusually rich in primordial artefacts.
