This massive asset is listed directly opposite the University of Ibadan. It's a structure that the government would do well to renovate and make it an additional source of wealth for the state.
For entrepreneurs, it's a strategic location if you're targeting the youths.
This used to be a very large supermarket. Now, in the shadow of it's former self, a flea market. Visiting here, you'd likely not know how sightly it once was, but you'd get the idea of how big a deal it was in it's former glory.
Let's just call it "A museum of it's former self". That's what Agbowo Shopping Complex is now.
Agbowo shopping complex affords residents the opportunity of getting almost everything they need at the tap of their fingers. Located opposite the school gate of the premier university, she has afforded the student populace the opportunity of convenience at a cheaper price.
It's in need of proper management. It could generate so much money if only it was properly invested in. A lot of empty shops, generally dry environment, and no form of entertainment whatsoever.
The biggest supermarket growing up as a child in Ibadan. Today it's just a shadow of it's self. Soon I believe, the former glory will return.
This is our own spar & shop rite! 😄😅😆
It is a well known shopping mall, located directly opposite University of Ibadan main gate. It is ought to be under renovation. The shop occupants have been notified to evacuate the premises. However a number of occupants still carry out business activities.
Am giving it 2 stars because some years back, this complex was was a wonderful place
Now, it's nothing to write home about - The gigantic building lies waste; 99% of the shop spaces are empty and for a complex in a booming University environment, the government/management has got me surprised.
This complex is in a strategic position in from of University of Ibadan. It has many shops offering different sales and services ranging from provision stores, stationery stores, pharmaceutical stores, business centres, restaurants, printing centres, cyber cafe, etc. There's a large car park inside the complex and public toilets for male and female. The downside is that the complex is old and most of it's facilities are delapidated.
Agbowo Shopping Complex, it's no gainsaying this mall is in shambles. Despite it strategic location - just opposite the country's premier university, this common wealth has become nothing but a state embarrassment. And what was formerly structured for sane interactions has over the years become home for mad people. The remains are still begging for government interventions. Hopefully, someday our common wealth will receive renewed rays of hope. Until then, it's a one star rating.
Agbowo shopping complex once a bustling commercial hub alas is now a shadow of it's past. The government of Ajumobi has placed the facility under renovation with not a single nail put in place for over 6 years.
About to be renovated
Supermarkets, bookshops, salons, mini restaurants, cyber cafe and lots more
Relic of a good past. Would have been a great mall but for poor maintenance.
The experience is awesome, there is easy access to road networks; Sango, Mokola, Ojoo, Moniya etc
A very large mall. Good entrance and exit. Large parking space and affordable shops
Agbowo shopping complex is just a complex made up of shops with traders selling various types of wares and services ranging from phones and it's accessories,to clothes and shoes.
The place is not nicely and neatly organized.
This place has been an eyesore for about 3-5 years; the government has proposed a renovation but no work has been commenced
A good business environment. Directly opposite the University of Ibadan, thereby serving the majority of UI students. Currently under reconstruction by the state government. It'll have a great look when completed. I give it four stars because of where it is being located and majority of services being rendered here.
It contains shops that offer various services. There are shops that offer internet services, called Cyber cafes.
I didn't hate it, it's just a run down place. It's a shame the space is being wasted because it's just a huge dilapidated empty place in a great position.
It's an okay place with huge potential if the government invests in it
Hub of small scale computer sellers and r epairers. Building is very dated. Its one of the monument of Obafemi Awolowo's Legacy.
A lot of businesses are going on here but the environment is a bit disorganized. The buildings needs maintenance. Also, it has been under utilised.
Spacious but still under renovation.
