Very disappointed with the rooms. Aircon wasnt working and it had an unpleasant smell. The food was good and the staff friendly. Great scenery.

Really nice view from the terrace. Comfortable und clean rooms. There is only a fixed Menue for dinner. If you have to leave early ask for the breakfast time.

An upmarket lodge with excellent customer service and a spectacular view from the rooms.
You can visit the lodge as a day visitor, but it is also perfect when you come from the airport directly. The lodge arrange transport to and from the airport and also the restaurant of your choice. They will also call the restaurant and book a table.
Their set menu is also a good option if you want to have a tranquil evening away from the buzz of the city.
Cocktails and sundowners are also a good choice when visiting river crossingresponse / report this review -

The best sunset location in and around Windhoek, good, hearty food and amazing staff, who are really clued up about gluten-free meals (which is not very common in Namibia) and always willing to accommodate special requests (gluten-free, etc.). The sunset from River Crossing is simply unbeatable!

Beautiful view but Give you a confirmation for your booking, but days later tell you that its fully booked for a certain "Function" and can't do anything about it. never plan for an important occasion or event at this place as they disappoint every time.

The best thing in my entire Namibian stay. The journey to the lodge is a tough one.. really tough as I was driving straight from Windhoek.
But the service was just Excellent. The one thing annoying though is everyone there asked me why I came alone?
The food was just great! Best of all is the view of the canyon .. can't find it elsewhere.. Just Great! 👍response / report this review
