Simply classic and amazing. I highly recommend Avani hotel and casino to all that want a luxurious feel and still be in the centre of town, a walking distance to most of the famous places. A really great place for tourists .

Food that with the proper price is delicious and special,buffet have various types,but the elevator is not work so well,you have to wait a long time then u got into room or ground.

Undergoing renovations May. 2018. Staff didn't seem to care about the inconvenience to clients - poor signage, long waits and poor access. Don't stay here until building work is completed ( and I wouldn't trust them to be honest about when that will be).

Inconsistent staff, the elevators hardly worked resulting in people walking over 230 steps up to get to the 8th floor and higher. Temporary staff should have been hired to help females and the elderly walking up the fire escape with their bags Food was reasonable to good, the decor and ambiance was moderately good. The rooms were good, well appointed and furnished but often the staff would forget to place water in the fridge.

We stayed here one night, as our flight was cancelled. The location is close to the city centre.
On the 12th floor and up, you can't here the streets which is nice.
The staff is generally friendly and helpful.
Upon arrival though we found out that out of three elevators 2 are broken and the third one is being fixed.. whatever this meant.
After an hour of waiting, the third elevator did "work", while making very scary sounds when opening doors.
During our stay, we had to walk up to the 12th floor as the elevator was used by staff to bring people their luggage. In average we waited about 20 min for the elevator. The hotel is apparently under renovations. The issues with the elevator has been there now for at least two month, as we have seen on other reviews.

The restaurant is buffet with cooking stations to get freshly cooked food.
During dinner time, it turned out that the fans above the cooking stations did not work.
Sadly while cooking the created smoke started the fire alarm in the whole hotel. It took the staff about 40 min to turn it off again. Completly ruined a relaxed dinner.

Except these problems, the hotel is clean, friendly and the restaurant, dinner as well as breakfast is rich in options.

The hotel rooms are clean and sparkly,
But then they said there would be bath robes but I searched even on the roof and couldn't find any,
I was also excited about swimming on the roof top but damn their renovating

Just ordered sushi. Very dry like its been stored overnight in the fridge. Definitely not freshly made. And now my stomach is upset.

Well located, many menu items on the menu not available on the menu, disappointing. Manager was not apologetic and was rather rude. AVANI you can do better.

The newly opened entrance way on Independence Avenue is luxurious and customer centred with an elegant coffee shop in which to entertain. The rooms are comfortable and well serviced and the restaurant (also newly expanded) provides great gourmet dishes as well as buffet.

We were there during renovations, and we still had a pleasant stay. Great service. Quality restaurant. Up to standard rooms.
In the middle of the city, easy access to the buzzing metropolis of Windhoek.

The hotel is very good.Good big rooms,well furnishedthe bedsheets and pillows are too neat and of high quality hence good comfort.Breakfirst is wonderful.only that on sundays gym is closed.

The place is still under construction when I ate there. So some of it can be forgiven. It was a buffet. Lots of options. All proteins. The cheese was a little off. Left a foul taste in my mouth. The Meerkat Chenin Blanc was off as well. Everything else was good. Waitress was friendly and always ready to refill our glasses.

Centrally located. Good parking. Good food and service. Everything you need for a tourist or business traveller. Great Spa facility, casino if that's your thing. Lots of building and upgrades in progress. Well priced although on the high side. Good WiFi.

Really spacious rooms with nice view of city and welcoming staff. Centrally located with shops near the reception as well as their own restaurant with ample menu items to choose from and the buffet option.

Went here for the lunch buffet. The buffet was very nice, from the starter salad and butternut soup to the prepared meals, pizza and the great variety of the dessert table. The wine menu is good, unfortunately some of the wines were not in available. The service was swift and nice
