  Still one of the nice and cheap self-catering accommodation in Swakopmund. Enjoy always my stay so close to the water.

  The last place I will ever stay. No trees, no grass, just sand. I understand it is the desert, but Mile 4 makes absolutely no effort for shade or to beautify the place. We booked online before the time only to be dissapointed with the facilities and camp when we got there. We turned around and checked into a guest house. Definitely for a different target market.

  Bathroom and kitchen facilities can be improved. Electrical fence doesn't work.

  Cold and very windy when you camp. Prepare for it! Beachfront not suitable to swim.

  The campsite is windy, the sea view is obstructed by an unpretty hotel in front of, no wifi, no electric plug at your site. But it is cheap, you have access to a kitchen (a bit grubby) which contents only oven without plates and pans, bathroom clean with hot shower.

  It is a very cool place to camp you can also just leave your things like that nothing will happen with it
