Met up with friends for coffee and sweets. It's a lovely restaurant. The coffee was good and they were lovely with the children. A nice selection of sweets and pastries in their display by the counter. I won't hesitate to return here.
You like coffe and cake? This is the place to go to.
We ended up here as just about the only coffee place open on a Sunday morning, and it was superb. Extremely friendly staff, coffee to match and a selection of pastries to die for.
Great coffee and cakes. Friendly staff and lovely view.
Very good spot in Swakopmund, nice atmosphere but the food is not very good.
6h00: served with great coffee and a fresh brotchen
Charming café with great service, an iconic location and some of the best homemade pies I've yet tasted. A must-visit for every first-time visitor to Swakopmund.
Venue and lovation is great. Poor service and quality of food and beverages. ie coffee etc
Terrible food. Don’t order the iced coffee. Was just coffee and water with a scoop of ice creamnot even mixed. Staff were rude. Very old fashioned interior. Will not be going there again.
Coffee is always good and cakes delectable. Interior a bit dated but I suppose it all adds to its charm.
Great place sample quality German confectionaries.
Impressive but
I went to Cafe Anton on recommendations of my Neighbour, while on a rest day during my recent Tour though Africa.
I easily found the place and clearly popular, there were quite a few people although it was still quite early.
I ordered a decaf cappuccino. Will not order that there again, and my chocolate cake were a bit dry with a bit of a overkill on the icing topping.
Maybe I expected more but were not impressed with what I ordered although the view from the restaurant over the yet type area were beautiful. I could enjoy the view and the newspaper.
Friendly staff helpful aswell
Love it will surely come back again
Room was freezing cold and bedding plus clothes got damp on our two night stay.
Breakfast very basic.
Staff and owner not best helpful.
Good point cakes are awesome.
I stayed in the hotel and the rooms weren't bad. Breakfast is great with a good variety. You don't have to be a resident to use the cafe and if you like pastries and cakes, you have to go.
Awesome place awesome service awesome food
Quaint, one of the the oldest family owned hotels in Swakopmund.
Decent breakfast buffet for N$105.
Went here for a late breakfast on a Sunday. The breakfast buffet was 110NAD and included fried/scrambled eggs, a hot drink and the buffet. The service was excellent and everything was as expected. The buffet included a bunch of different type of bread, some salami, ham, butter, jam etc.
Best freshly baked goods and atmosphere
Nice cafe with a lot of pastry. They also have buffet breakfast in the morning. WiFi seems to better than in other cafes. You can also see the ocean from it. It's often busy.
Had all you can eat breakfast.
It was OK.
I felt it was a little pricey but it was enjoyable and the filter coffee was good. Some pastries would have been nice to have been included.
