It is truly a lovely place to have a coffee and/or meal when visiting Swakopmund. After three years since my last visit, it is remarkable that their friendly greetings, waiting and good byes are still as heart warming and enthusiastic as upon my first visit. The portions are really value for money and served in interesting 'local' enamel cups and plates. Keep up the good work guys, I for one will be back, for sure!!

Best hidden gem in Swakopmund. Friendliest of friendly staff, great atmosphere and interesting interior. Menu with a touch of humour and variety of food and drink. Can’t wait to go back here. A definite MUST GO AND TRY

The „Village Cafe“ became my favourite place in Swakopmund the day I entered it (and found this lovely back yard). The cafe has a very unique atmosphere, created by small rooms and the back yard, all being differently furnished.
The staff is super friendly and whatever your mood is when you enter this place - you will be in a happy/good mood when you leave.
I love the waitresses headgear, that seems to change daily, and is a real hingucker.

Really cute little restaurant. I love the colours and the vibe. The food is really good. Just wish they sold chips with some of their dishes. Apparently they don't do it at all. But the staff are nice and and food tastes wonderful. Try their pancakes and white hot chocolate. It's pretty rad. I love the pictures on the wall showing how they built the restaurant. And the furniture it unique. Lots of little things to look at when you are there.

Surely worth to visit and try homemade toast salad. We tried terminator 3 and 4. They were yummy, huge and totally out of capability to finish. Cheese cake is also very tasty.

Great in every single aspect. The coffee was amazing, the food was very nice and the ambiance as well. I had a baked cheesecake with cream on the side that was delicious and Kampkoffie (coffee with Amarula) that was really good. My girlfriend had one of their sandwiches which was delicious and a Boerekoffie (coffee with condensed milk).

It has a great atmosphere. Service is good. The menu seems to be very similar to Bojos Cafe, but Village Cafe is a bit more expensive.
